Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

So, the 90th day of the Merge is coming to an end.

What have we learned?

What a ride it's been already. I don't even know if I want to know what's next.

Do you think the United States actually has countless individuals like Chris, and Chris just won the lottery of being the one particular eccentric autist that the internet decided to hyperfixate on? Meaning there's thousands of other mentally disturbed individuals like him rotting in their parents' houses without being noticed?

Or is he genuinely one of a kind, the one that stands out from a population of 329.5 million, and so it was inevitable that this individual would be noticed?

In the unlikely event that anyone cares about the cringe-ass bullshit that faggot who just got chased off the Farms posted, for the record, here it is.

There are definitely many like him no doubt, down to the entitlement and uselessness despite the ability to achieve academically somewhat, I’d even say similar age of their parents , abuse, neglect, etc. But most of them would have been stopped way before any notoriety can accumulate by being cut off of the internet. I still have no idea why they give him completely internet freedom with no supervision while being apparently so horribly harassed as a result of him being on the internet. Maybe it’s because then the tard is distracted and won’t bother them.

I have HFA and bipolar and my life never got as insane as Chris’s. Then again my parents actually contained me when I sperged out and disciplined me when I fucked up.

Barb and Bob have always been hands-free with their parenting when it came to Chris. They left him at home as a baby while they went to get drunk, stuck him in front of the television when he turned out to be a tard, and let him go to the mall repeatedly despite his multiple bans. They were old people who didn't have the energy to raise a conventional child, let alone one with autism. They took a look at Chris and just gave up.

I learned to listen to your lawyer(do not throw a tantrum for your Legos) and maybe get bail. But, as well, don't pretend to be Jesus or God as that's the only sin that's unforgivable in the Bible.
I am interested in the next court appearance. Is it going to be continuous, or will Chris have another tantrum?

Most of Chris' letters have been nothing more than ramblings from a mentally ill retard. His letter from the 20th, though, had an interesting quote:

"In regards to online fame or infamy, yes I do realize and have accepted that in a certain extent of the damage and chaos that had come upon myself on this Earth was, in fact, my fault and bad in sharing too much conscious honesty during those respective years in pertanance [sic] to what had been present then."

Chris has seemingly taken responsibility for his past actions. Taking responsibility for Chris though usually means partially blaming others for his own actions. Besides convincing himself that he's the Messiah, I wonder whether he's been dwelling on past events leading up to his demise?

It's not such a simple decision to revoke someone's internet access. Sometimes kids can end up smarter when they grow up using their Internet access to learn about things, read Wikipedia, and such.

If Chris was sent to a female prison, he'll be happy for a few days because all he can see are women. For a few days, he'll realize that a woman doesn't always equivalent to a saint. They can beat him up, shanked, or give him numerous STDs when they found out he has his crooked duck intact.

After three months inside, I'm curious what he looks like now.

I've been curious about how all of this will be seen in, like, the 2050s. Will there still be people remembering Chris's life, maintaining archives of the CWCki? Only time will tell.
2050 isn't that far away, it's only 29 years, there will be people in this thread still alive then.
Barring some huge apocalyptic event that destroys all records then this stuff will survive a long time, especially now with the Internet.
Once something is online, it's there forever, the Internet doesn't forget.
It's remarkable that we now have the entire sum of human knowledge available at our fingertips, it's something we couldn't have dreamed of even 100 years ago.
I don't think Chris will be forgotten for a while.

A lot of stuff will be on the Internet forever because of archive.org including sonichu.com. But as events are buried further back in time, people gradually lose interest. I don't think a lot of people learning about Chris now, are researching things that happened to him in a random month in 2013.

True, but if someone wanted to remake Geno's documentary or something, it's still there to find, it's just a matter of looking.
Realistically, Chris hasn't made any historical impact, so will people remember him in 2050?
Sure, but 2150 is another matter.

He's the most documented person in earth, and the recent influx of... meddling weens proves that his shenanigans are interesting to newer generations.
Like it or not, he's a pretty iconic part of a very... colorful part of the history of the internet, one part that I'd suspect will always have a strong nostalgic appeal, and that will only get stronger with time. To many people Chris is the Avatar of the last days of the "wild west internet", the last lolcowboy. He will not disappear in a long time, and I'd say he'll survive as a sort of urban legend when everyone interested on him today are dead.

I think he'll be remembered as the face of mass hysteria that is identity politics ̣ Tumblr and Buzzfeed make you think you are only special if youŕe different and encourage you to become tranny otherkin furry LGBTQ ̣

Unfortunately, the further you differentiate yourself from people the more lonely and deranged you become ̣ Without reality checks you can find yourself in a situation where you are encouraged to pretend to be a cartoon character for months on end and righteously believe you are allowed to do anything including fucking your own mother ̣

You personally drank the kool aid but came back from it so you probably understand this phenomenon first hand ̣ Check out the fat acceptance movement to see how transparently greedy and selfish the heart of identity politics really is
