I have been recently been binging on True crime and prison documentary stuff..
there’s this one aspergic and skitzo prisoner who was in for having knuckle dusters. His plan after release was to go another state to be closer to his fam but was told that his Medicare was canceled as soon as he entered jail so wouldn’t be able to go because he can’t afford it and had to stay in a group home in the state until it’s reinstated (I may be butchering it).

But my main point is is there a chance that Chris’s SSDI was actually canceled or put on hold ergo when he’s out he’s in the same place he started?

Legal Kiwis said he might lose it if the gov makes a mistake, but it wouldn’t be too hard to get it back. He can get help with the paperwork from a social worker or someone. They have to set him up somewhere and he needs the tugboat to pay for lodgings, so it’s in the gov’s interest to assist him there. Said lodgings might take up most of the tugboat, so the lego party might be short lived.

Chris hasn't been earning money in jail and won't earn retroactive payment upon his release. Less than 12 months in prison/hospital it's just on hold, Chris just goes to the SS office with ID and release papers and the tugboat starts again the following month.

However it looks like he'll be confined longer than that. A year is the longest he can be held with his misdemeanor charge in pretrial confinement. If the court grants continuances that go past a year since his arrest, they will release him UNLESS they either bump his charges from misdemeanor to felony or he remains hospitalized, which is where most people speculate he was sent. In the likely event he spends a year or more in jail, he will have to reapply for bennies, which is time consuming and will be a headache for him to do if he's more focused on being Jesus or whatever. I think his father did it for him the first time, this time he'll either need a friend (if he has any) or a lawyer who specializes in that which he can't afford.

Chris is entitled to SSDI until convicted. The timer where it is suspended does not start until he is convicted. If it has been mistakenly suspended, he's entitled to back pay if someone is willing to do the paperwork to push for it.

Once convicted, after 30 days in incarceration, it will be suspended. It will continue to be suspended until he is released.

Unlike SSI, SSDI does not have the 12-month cutoff which forces someone to reapply. Instead you just have to send in a notice of your release (including release papers), and payments are restored.

Chris doesn’t deserve much sympathy if any because Chris is predominantly responsible for his own misery. The belief that he couldn’t control what he was doing in any capacity is total bullshit because Chris willingly walked away from the internet and took a hiatus at one point, only to come back full blown tomboy. That alone is proof that Chris has some shred of control over his actions.
If Chris had just walked away and stopped posting online when people first started going after him, he wouldn’t have felt the need to keep escalating it just to satisfy his ego. The result of that egotism is when he would get caught doing awful shit he would attempt to justify it by any means.

Sad. I'm not saying Chris is completely innocent but he is very clearly mentally disturbed, and the state seems to think so too considering his transfer to a mental hospital. Being as lonesome as he seems to have been, any human interaction is a positive one so the idea that "he could've walked away" is just silly because he clearly became emotionally dependent on the people literally pretending to have his own best interests at heart.

Not solitary confinement, but more isolated from everyone. From Chris' letters, it seemed like had some degree of autonomy, but since it's Chris, it's hard to believe those letters. I assume Chris is isolated from everyone in the mental hospital.

It might depend on how involved Tom and Harriet are in Barbs life right now. If they only check on her every now and then, then the house might be filled with more Borbage. If they are involved in her life and are cleaning the place up to sell it, then they might be taking some of the tugboat to pay for cleaning crews and building a nest egg to find another place for Barb to live.

I doubt Chris would ever want to approach his fellow patients at the hospital if he's allowed to interact with others. He hates the mentally ill and sees them as beneath him. You seem to be unaware that before Chris was found by the internet he was a general piece of shit. Bullying literal children at card shops, actively harassing students and staff at his college, the list goes on. You can’t rewrite Chris’ past into him being a bad guy, because in existing Christory he was both the bad guy to himself and others. For however many effective trolls there were, there were just as many people who tried to redirect Chris into a better path, only for his decisions and violent reactions hurting them.

A good few trolls like the Idea Guys definitely took things too far (and may they burn in hell for that), but he wrote a comic about killing Liquid when Liquid wasn’t being threatening at all. He made a video of himself shooting a photo of a guy who beat him in a contest, some guy who had no idea who Chris was. Chris had incredibly violent and irrationally angry responses to things that weren’t an issue, and his whole life is full of those. The majority of Chris’ massive fuckups can simply be chalked up to him not stopping and considering it’s not worth getting upset over or pursuing.

He’s not retroactively a bad guy because he fucked his mom, he’s always been a terrible person. He’s not worth your pity.
