Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I am bored so I decided to write down the total number of issues/hangups/red flags a sweetheart would need to overlook to date Chris. Then I decided to do the opposite. This list is somewhat prioritized with the most important items at the top. I also tried to make this list objective and not open for interpretation (e.g. his attitude, intelligence, and creepiness is harder to quantify).

Issues/hangups/red flags with dating Chris:
  • Autistic
  • Transgender
  • Reputation (famous internet lolcow)
  • Childish (Legos, My Little Pony)
  • Ugly
  • Obese lifestyle
  • Poor
  • Jobless
  • Refuses to work (demands to be stay-at-home spouse)
  • Lives with mom (as a 34 year old)
  • Criminal Record (GamePlace & GameStop)
  • No real friends
  • Credit card debt
  • Poor familial relations
Benefits of dating Chris:
  • Tugboat (guaranteed income)
  • Assets (14BL)
Please feel free to add to both lists.
Issues:
  • Horrific hygiene, especially when it comes to showering.
  • Incredibly boring to talk to when he's not going on an autistic bender.
  • No handyman-experience (imagine if the house gets a leak...).
  • His Encopresis would be incredibly disgusting, especially when he refuses to wear the "butt garments" needed to keep his pants clean.
Benefits:
  • His tard-raging would be occasionally amusing to watch.

Has anyone else noticed how Chris licks his lips when he's stressed out?
I first noticed it here at 2:22 years ago and have spotted it in a lot of videos since, including yesterday's video just before he says no-one got him the PS4. Like his mouth detected the oncoming stress before his mind did.
I call it "the Autistic Lip-Lick".
Does anyone agree that this is a pattern? I'd make a compilation video but I just don't have time.

At least we have a name for it!

This is probably an old question, but why does CWC feel the need to emphasize words in writing (via the random and varying degrees of capitalization) in the first place? Is it because he's projecting an inability to determine the tone of writing without it onto others?

Is Chris allowed to earn money while he receives money from the gov? In some countries you have to tell the welfare that you earn extra-money (in germany you theoretically have to tell them if you have been grocery-shopping with your mother, if she pays it. even if its just 10$). Doesnt he have to run some kind of business with tax-return and other things?

Yes, but only if reports it properly (which likely means he would have to hire some sort of accountant since he is self-employed).
You can earn up to a certain amount if you report it properly (this is generally done if you are disabled but work part-time to earn some extra cash).
So the answer in this case is no because of the following:

  1. Chris does not report his earnings to the welfare office
  2. Chris does not pay taxes on his earnings and does not report anything to the IRS

If he was to report everything properly and pay his taxes and earn under the threshold of X amount (which is something like 800) he would be perfectly fine with keeping his tugboat in addition to the profits from his etsy business.
As it stands he is both cheating the welfare system by not reporting his business and the IRS by tax evasion (which are both likely criminal offences).
Does the Government care about his small etsy shop enough to bust him? Likely not.

I was going to post this in the DNAsticles thread, but i think it's better here.
chris really wants crystal to be a real thing.
out of all his dreams this is one he's really wanting.
and i thought
maybe he wants a child so sonichu could live on.
he does think that sonichu is real, and everything he imagines is real (at least that's what it seems like to me)
maybe he realizes that when he dies his imaginary world dies too.
but maybe with a true and honest chandler child, he can keep it alive through her.

now you may ask... what makes chris think crystal will keep sonichu alive?
well, i'm sure he thinks that if he had a daughter (instead of a damn dirty son)
she would be nice enough to carry the torch (because women are so nice about everything).

or
OR

chris wants a child to protect CWCville when he's gone.
CWCville doesn't die when he dies, but without the perfect hero, the trolls and villains will take over (and make it a better place).

He's not cheating the welfare office because he's not receiving anything in excess of what he should. He's dodging accountability at most.

As far as tax evasion goes, they can only charge you if you're not operating in good faith, which Chris is. I would imagine the situation with welfare is very similar.

At most they'd just collect what they're owed. In the case of welfare, Chris owes $0. And I don't know what he'd owe the IRS. It's not likely that he'd get audited.

Hard to say really.
He would actually owe the welfare office not only the fairly substantial fine that he is likely to incur, but also for at least one month (the one where he got the $1000 donation plus whatever else he sold/received that month).
I think the moral of the story is:

What Chris is doing isn't lawful but since he is unlikely to receive any backlash from it (even if he got convicted of tax avoidance or whatever, they cannot garnish his tugboat or the home thanks to the homestead act), the danger of him getting into trouble is minimal.

Whenever Chris actually dies, Trickie or _blank_ needs to draw this. I'm thinking some nice panels of Mary Lee Walsh marching in, shaking hands with Sonichu, and a nice montage of the city being made a better place.

I can see the Tomgirl saga ending in a year or so.
Chris is getting tired of playing pretend (cryonavy and lack of pitched voice are proofs) and is balding at a fast rate.

He also failed to obtain china this way, despite his efforts.
Chris is freezing the navy in anticipation of getting de-ducked.

The tomgirl stuff runs way deeper than you realize. The tomgirl stuff, at its heart, is not a ploy for china. Chris has legit gender issues. (insert standard "i don't think he's legit trans, just legit fucked up" disclaimer)

The only way Chris is ever abandoning the translesbian shit is a massive and unexpected character shifting event, like joining a cult or having a nervous breakdown. Think about it, Charb seems like the kind of people it'd be easy to brainwash.

What was the aftermath of the recycling video? Did Chris ever acknowledge it and try to do some damage control?
nvm, there's an article about it on the wiki.
