Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Has Chris made a statement/been informed of the return of Liquid? His response should be at least somewhat interesting, a break from the repetitive, boring "ahm jesus!!!" he's been on for the last year.

Who do yall feel the most sorry for? for me it's probably Bob since he didn't really do anything wrong from what I gathered, his wife ruined the house with her hoarding and Chris was, instead of a gifted son who will carry on his legacy as a great engineer, an autistic retard. I feel like you can hear the disappointment in Bob's voice whenever he talks to Chris.
All the people who are tied to Chris/the documenting of Chris though interacting with him before he became well known on the internet (Megan, Mary Lee Walsh, etc) or who didn‘t know about his internet infamy or otherwise unintentionally became a focus for Chris like Rocky Shoemaker or that guy Chris maced.

Megan is probally the worst affected since she’s young enough to be aware of internet culture and whatever she does, unless she somehow becomes famous in her own right, will be best known online for being someone Chris wanted to bang.

Bob was no saint. By far the better parent, sure, but as head of the household he totally failed to handle Chris's autism. People say he insisted on mainstreaming Chris because he believed that getting him treated would ammount to dumping him in an asylum as it did during his time, but IMO the main reason was just pure ego: Chris was his last chance to be a normal parent, to show the world that he could be a good father if he tried. Bob's other two kids were distant or outright estranged (his daughter didn't even attend his funeral), so it's not hard to see why he'd want to do things right with Chris. It's likely that he considered admitting to Chris needing "outside assistance" as admitting to (yet another) failure, so instead he kept stubbornly insisting that there was nothing wrong with him, as many parents with disabled children do.
In Bob's mind, Chris was just fine, and Bob would rather construct an elaborate conspiracy theory involving everyone between the Greene County Schoolboard and Megan Schroeder than to admit that he wasn't.

Ofc I'm not saying that he didn't aknowledge Chris's autism. He did, never as an actual disability, but more as some mysterious force field that made everyone arond Chris want to play kick-the-autistic.

You can feel bad for Bob, yes. But at the same time he's not completely infallible. People just have rosy eyed glasses when they think about the good and because of this, sometimes overlook his own wrongdoings.
You have a point that Bob was almost as protective of Chris as Barb was and definitely had some outdated worldviews, but the main thing is he actually attempted to better Chris and push him to be successful. He's the reason he went to PVCC, and probably the reason he was sent to the cub scouts and got a job at Wendy's. Bob was never content in seeing his son turn into a useless slob, and was pretty much conned into having one in the first place. He would've had a much better life if he never met Barb.

Did anyone ever figure out where/why Chris bought the Cadillac? An early 90s Deville strikes me as an odd choice for someone like him. Did someone from his church or something sell it to him for a low price? Or he inherited it from a family member?

Big, white domestic boats like Caddy's, Lincoln's, etc... are like cockroaches in that part of Virginia. They're all over the place and extremely common because they're not priced that badly.

Odds are, Borb just wanted a "fancy" car at some point given Chris said his family spent "thousands" to get a Crutchfield radio installed as a selling point when Chris put up on Craigslist.

Barb did have a BMW Z3 at the time, so they definitely did have goofy taste in cars.

IIRC the engine block is cracked. It would be a total "Barb move" to buy a caddy with a cracked block and have it towed to the front yard just to rot. Do we know if the chandlers acquired the Caddy with or without the cracked engine?

I don't think it was Borb's car, because IIRC Bob had the Mitsubishi and Barb had a Windstar, plus the BMW. It wasn't seen in the Chandler's yard before 2012 so it must have been purchased solely to replace the Escort wagon.

Hahaha fuckin' Northstars lmao.
No, that happened after Chris had owned it for a year or so. Very common problem on 90s Cadillacs that came with the Northstar V8 engine. The cylinder head bolts would back themselves out and cause the aluminum engine block to crack.

To be honest though, Chris was trying to play it off like the BMW was his in various online dating apps to see if it would attract pussy.

One of the real questions that may have been asked on here is how much do you think Isabella Janke is laughing about this whole ordeal? I don’t know if she’ll wait for Chris to come out of jail, but I do know that her character arc is somewhat of an influence on him.

No.

Chris is objectively a bad person, he raped his senile mother, he tried to rape "Kacy" and he more or less threatened to assault Megan. If that's not enough he's asked on multiple occasions for people to kill people he deemed deserving of such. People keep acting like Chris is this lovable retard who is just misunderstood; if anything he's misunderstood as being innocent and naive instead of the violent sexpest he is. Never confuse weakness with innocence.
One would think that him fucking his mother and trying to cover it up would have completely shut up the people spinning the lovable retard narrative.

Would you cry if Chris dies tomorrow?
For me, the only reasonable reaction to Chris’s life, whether continuing or ending, is shaking your head like the end of No Country for Old Men or Fargo. I can obviously understand why people say Chris is an “asshole” or whatever but my reaction is much more resigned. Someone like Chris needs to be punished for his actions but I can’t really bring myself to be angry at him because no one wants to be the kind of person who wants to do what he does. Dishing out the consequences is more of a somber duty as a society in my view

When Chris said confessing to fucking Barb was a "Test for the faithful" I thought that he's actually following in the footsteps of many great religious leaders. It's amazing how many Prophets/Gods do the most horrific depraved shit to "test" their followers

Here's a very fresh hot take.
You're bunch of boring autists who don't know how to have fun, just like a tard child who puts his toys in lines instead of playing with them, but will have a meltdown if someone else will try.
You are the autists child - Chris is the toys, and you screech every time someone outside the forum talks or does something around your toy.
