No but I would not celebrate either. Even though people "follow" Chris they don't feel a parasocial connection to him the way they might to other notable people. People look at Chris as a fascinating rollercoaster ride and talk about him the same way they might talk about the lore of their favorite tv show, anime, comic book, etc. If he dies it would just be the end to the story. People will reflect on his life, wonder where things went wrong, "Bob was no saint but he actually cared" will be posted for the 10 billionth time, people who think his last name is Chan will twist his legacy as being a victim of targeted cyberbullying because he was transgendered but no one will actually shed a tear for him.

One of the early times was in 2007 when Evan Christopher George decided to creatively interpret Chris's request to "draw Rosechu masturbating and squirtin'" to draw Rosechu with a penis. However, there was a long distance between then and Chris getting diagnosed as transgender by a psychologist in order to change his driving licence to "female" in 2016.
Using perverted stuff to disgust people for the lulz was not uncommon back then, and people didn't realise yet how many people asking them to do it "for the lulz" were actually into it, in a paedo-grooming way.

A thought that enters my head every now and then when I’m bored:
I know Chris enjoyed making the amiibos and buys his custom skylanders stuff, but what made him think people wanted to buy all the stuff ahead of time? Like, there were people who wanted the sonichu amiibos, but who the hell wanted the Chris or Christine amiibos, and almost no one wanted the Blake amiibos. I feel like if he had any common sense(I know, chris doesn’t) he would have only made them to order rather than building a massive stockpile of amiibos and skylanders stuff nobody actually wanted to buy.
Not really fodder for a deep discussion, just general feelings

He wanted to get the money but never actually have to make them. That's why nobody bought them, they knew if you pay Chris in advance for anything, he just cheats you.

You mean dropshipping? But in order to dropship you need a reliable producer who can consistently fulfill orders.
You also have to realize Chris is old school. He knows you need available products at all time and that you need to hold a minimum requirement in reserve.
Also, the figures were always in demand. It's just Chris poor business management that lead to low sales. Profitable by $5? Per figure (someone did a breakdown). Chris did try to advance his sales by trying to get a 3d printer but alas. The Legos were of more priority than funding/finding a 3d company to produce said product.
Edit: biggest reason again is their pricing and that you may never even receive your product/broken. Chris is very profitable, but he's too retarded to take advantage and prioritize his needs than wants.

You know, I always felt I’d he would have de-transitioned and embraced just being striped shirted Chris Chan he could have made a solid business out of his knickknacks and videos, but, literally everyone who tried to teach him how to use his infamy failed.
Why bother making a product when you can try and pawn off old stamps no one wants?
Why make videos and comics when you can beg? I think the only thing that possibly could have been taught to him was to understand what his fame actually was. He always believed he was a superstar, not a sideshow attraction

You know, as Chris sees himself as a big shot, I always wondered why Chris never used trolled influenced things like Julay as part of his autographs. It's always been his catchphrases, which I get, but Chris has known to acknowledge his online infamy, but only focus on the stuff that made him look good (no surprise). I'm surprised people haven't told Chris "hey can you make this out to Julay."The other prisoners throw crayons at Chris while shouting JULAAAAY

It's kind of surprising how well Chris has monetized his existence, and how much money he could've made if he put in the bare minimum. afaik he never had his utilities shut off, he was sometimes late on mortgage payments but obviously not enough to get the house taken, and didn't have problems with food, and that was through a $1200 a month tugboat, a lot of begging and the odd comic. If he was able to make a page every other day and keep up with custom figure sales he would've had a pretty damn stable income, and it's not like that's a heavy workload considering how much time he has and how little effort probably goes into both of those.

It's weird. He totally could have sold shitloads of Sonichu merch had he proven he was competent enough to actually deliver in a timely manner, and end up making more money from his hobby than he did from his tugboat. But I guess that short term enjoyment from buying a Lego set was always gonna take precedent over long term financial stability.

IIRC it was Alec who said if you did a little extra work on a smaller problem, you could have avoided a major problem in the future. If he cared about being successful with Sonichu putting in the extra work would have made him more money. The paypigs and the tugboat really destroyed him in the long run.

It's quiet because hardly anything is happening that is made available to us. Maybe some news will come out in eight months when his case is reviewed. I think Heilberg's idea is to get the felony incest charge dropped if Chris avoids raping his mom for two years and gets help from social workers and a group home, but his job is being made harder because Chris isn't getting that help and he has almost no opportunity to commit sexual assault while in jail, so a judge may be skeptical that he is not a threat.
Maybe Chris is writing to people other than Praetor. If he is, they are abiding by requests to refrain from uploading his letters online. Other people haven't given him that courtesy so he's likely cut them off, with good reason.
