Basically, in my opinion, they're seeing just how autistic Chris is. If he can actually function all right, is "high functioning", then there's a chance he will catch those charges. If not, then it's probably more time in the system.

I think it's more likely the opposite. The less likely to reoffend, the more likely he is to be put back in the community, and if he's absolutely buttfuck crazy he gets committed. If he's somewhere in the middle maybe they just go ahead and charge him with rape.

It's somewhat confusing that he isn't already in some kind of home or treatment, because going stir crazy in a jail doesn't really seem like much of an "evaluation" period.

Actually the whole deal is trying to figure out what "mind" Chris was in for his crime, because that's why he was arrested. Seeing if he reoffends is something completely different, but you're right, something the courts need to look at.

However, the courts are still trying to determine if Chris raped Barb because he's a feeble minded, low functioning tard, or else he did it of sound mind, knowing it was wrong. People need to realize that this period isn't Chris being punished, it's an evaluation if Chris should be punished or not.

Things like bragging about how he ran a business, or how high functioning he is won't help him because it shows he's of sound mind enough to do things normal people can do. Which leads to another question not brought up:

What if the reason Chris is still sitting in jail not because they can't find beds at group homes because they're out of space, but instead, because of whatever evaluations he's gone through (remember, he's with 100% medically and psychologically qualified professionals since he was arrested), show's that he is indeed what the state considers a danger, and none of the tard homes want him because of the results of his evaluations, HOWEVER, he's not insane enough yet to be thrown in some hole somewhere to forget about.

Maybe Chris is in some limbo between a regular ol' tard that got into trouble, but not evil enough to be placed in some really high security situation, but as the results of his tests reveal, he's definitely not ready to be let out or put in any situation where he can left unmonitored. We know he had a severe violent outburst at Western, enough for him to be restrained, but he's also not trying to eat the faces of people.

Chris goes from wanting to murder people and wish death on them on a whim, but with enough prodding will admit that was wrong, but then will go on insane rants that are chock full zero to 100 angry rants. I highly doubt in Chris's current mind, he could control that if he really gets amped up. That right there, someone questioning him and he just gets angrier and angrier will result in someone saying "Naa, this guy is fine to be around low functioning people without constant supervision."

Some the evidence is out there: Chris bought a book specifically to have sex with the old and disabled, and Chris actually put effort into concealing that info until he was caught on it. At the same time, it's already known that Chris can get easily swayed with recognition, money or China. I think both Heilberg and the prosecution know of this, and if I was the judge, I'd make sure Chris takes a plea that wouldn't allow him in the general public because the guy cannot be trusted. I do agree that Chris is in limbo, but with his history, it's only going to be a matter of time before he gets himself in trouble.

Considering that court staff hears this sort of crap all of the time (that the defendant is actually a millionaire, owns several homes, is undercover FBI/CIA/other, high ranking military), I can tell you exactly how much they're going to believe without receipts: None of it. (although once we did have a defendant who said he was John McAfee, and he actually was. Of course, it's pretty well known that McAfee went nuts and is no longer with us in any sense of the word. This was *before* he ended up in prison in Barcelona.)

This. This is the reason. The kind of placement he needs is pretty thin on the ground if not practically nonexistent. He might have better luck in the western part of the US, but in Virginia the pickings will be really slim. Consider that he needs a placement that:

• will deal with his whole gender thing yet is technically single sex
• is secure for a sex offender/moderately secure
• is rated for his level of intellectual functioning and staffed accordingly

That is a big ask. Even here, in a really liberal part of the state, he'd end up at the state hospital (i.e., as he ended up at Western) pending placement at best. His best bet is to just stay put until they find room for him at a residential center who will take him. Unfortunately, jail is where a lot of people with no place to go end up. It's a local/regional jail rather than a state prison, so he's probably housed in medical segregation and treated pretty well. Earlier in the thread I've discussed this more.

One other thing: If anyone thinks public defenders are somehow low-tier attorneys, think again. It's true that a lot of attorneys start there. It's a very difficult job and frankly, contracts and business law pay a whole lot better. However, the ones I have encountered are practically goddam saints, considering what they have to work with, and the massive case loads they carry. Chris drew the prize when he lucked into getting Heilberg assigned to him.

I don't know, but Heilberg seems to be a pretty good troll for Chris, after all, he was able to get Chris locked up in an insane asylum, which Chris feared for his entire life. I think Chris is going to hit in the head when he finally gets out and realizes how much his life is fucked from all this. Currently, he's content to sit in his cell, thinking he's Jesus, and completely away from social media. Chris will definitely try out his new ChrisChan Cult after he gets out, which will mean he won't hesitate to get back onto social media, and only then will realize how fucked up his life is. So far, outside of the Idea Guys and maybe a few others, he really hasn't had interactions will the really bad side of the internet, and was always viewed as that lovable oafish tard, but now, after all this, people won't look at him in the same way or give him the benefit of the doubt.

I guess it depends where he ends up, ideally for him it'd be some place for disabled adults where he can be somewhat shielded but I doubt he'd want that so there's the future potential for some major tard rages and grudges once he gets rejected from attenting conventions, that's if he can sort out his life to find somewhere stable to live and manage to pay rent on time.

This is what happens when one gets too comfortable living in somewhat luxury for 40 years. Chris parents really did a disservice raising Chris by isolating him the way they did.

Even is Chris is allowed in conventions, you know some ween or alog is going to make up Chris inappropriately touching them just to see him being booted.

Chris is in and out with this. Sometimes, he declares his love for his pokemon based lovers, but he also laments no having anyone irl to have a relationship with. Depending on what the court sets up Chris will probably get a conservator to get him a section 8 house, meaning that whichever unfortunate landlord gets stuck with Chris will also be getting guaranteed government both from the tugboat and the subsidy. As contradictory as this sounds Chris would be a tenant who consistently pays rent on time (the conservator will make sure of that), which might make it worth it to keep him around even if it means dealing with occasional tard rage, and hell they might not even have to deal with any major chimp outs if the court decides that if Chris misbehaves he gets sent to a group home.

We know from him that he was restrained, but it didn’t necessarily take a “severe violent outburst” to trigger it. Some places will use restraints on someone just beginning to have a freakout as a justified precaution. It doesn’t necessarily mean he was being dangerous.

I know for certain that several of my own major life events wouldn't have happened had Chris never wandered into the public consciousness.

In a strange and probably schizo way, I have to thank Chris. Not for the laughs or major cringe or even the crazy drama in his own life that's been such a thrill to watch over the years. But just for existing and vicariously impacting my life.

Also someone would have had to have started the application process already if he's expected to be in section 8 housing by the time he's done his finished his sentence locked up or wherever else he goes.

Chris himself wouldn't have even thought about that because for what reason would he have thought that he's not going back to the temple? Barb likely has no consideration for what happens to Chris, if he doesn't end up in a tard/group home, this will be the 3rd time (1st the house fire, 2nd when order was issued telling him to stay away form Branchland Court) that he'll be officially homeless.

Yeah, ADF is who I think of as a good comparison, he’s more socially competent than Chris (As in slightly) where he can consider someone else’s feelings while it’d be a disaster if anyone tries to be a housemate with Chris.

One other thing I’m not sure about is if Chris can be trusted to do any regular cleaning/maintenance, without the horde maybe he’d do okay or maybe he’d just follow in his mothers footsteps and pack his house full of toys and garbage.

According to the list of places that have banned Chris, he's only been banned from two conventions and kicked out of a third. There are lots of other conventions Chris could attend.

People who run conventions talk to each other. I’m reasonably certain Chris is on blacklists for mlp gatherings in general and if he tried to attend a different kind of con, someone would make the owners aware of who he is. He raped his mother and has no sense of personal space, for Pete’s sake.

Even furries don’t want to deal with him. They’re in enough trouble as it is and are in danger of having nowhere willing to host them.
