*COUGH* @MasterDisaster *COUGH*
Maybe he's run out of into at this point but he shared an ass-tone of juicy deets.
I still get quite a bit of info from time to time. The problem with sharing it is half the time I can say it but how can I prove it's really coming from Chris without some credible proof? Like this; Chris has been munching down Fenugreek seeds for quite some time now because they're supposed to increase estrogen. Funny thing is it only increases it if you if actually have estrogen to start with.

Didn't Chris get interviewed by a radio station like a year ago? Whatever happened with that, I assume it never aired.

I stand corrected.

Regardless, @MasterDisaster is a rare exception. It's not like there's a mess of people who are both talking to Chris and managing to explicitly leak what they are told at the same time.

I'm very vague when I talk about Chris' goings on for a reason.

At what point does giving (not taking away) Chris money go from charity to weening?

If this question was already asked point me to the appropriate page and I will delete this post (as to get rid of clutter)...

Sounds healthier than McDonald's so hey, thumbs up to Chris there.

That and haven't you hit Marvin "We all generally agree that you're reliable" status yet?

This board could easily spin out of control if everyone posted whatever they wanted about Chris. People would make jokes which get taken as real and others would just troll the board. Eventually noone would know what was true and what wasn't and the board would be a lot less interesting.

I think we all understand this on some level, so we enforce a fairly high standard of proof or trustworthiness of source. That is obviously going to end up filtering out some true stuff, but I think we are better off erring in that direction. It is better to have a board where everything is true, but we only have 75% of the available info than a board where only 75% of the stuff is true.

Chris bought a DVD of Pink Flamingos a couple weeks ago.

It's the movie Jackie asked him to watch so he could cosplay as Divine in the court scene.

Just last night, I had a dream where an actual theme song about Sonichu played once in this pub where I ended up in while lost in a city:
♪ SoniCHU! SoniCHU! ♫
♫ (unintelligible) Christian Weston Chandler! ♪
It was entirely piano music and it sounded like it came from the 60s or 70s. Now imagine for just one second if Sonichu actually was a franchise and a theme song actually did exist... O.o

With his recent purchase of a dakimakura pillow to be his waifu, it brings up the question, how much of a real anime fan is Chris?
Over the years, Chris has taken quite an interest in the medium. Whether it be for inspiration or self pleasure, it's managed to make itself quite a large part of Chris's life. Chris enjoys the artform to some extent, as well, although it's not his primary obsession. Needless to say, he's watched a lot of anime, bought plenty of anime through the PlayStation Network, and swiped as many ideas as he can get his head around from his favorite anime series.
He has had enough interest in anime generally to attend the anime conventions and do the cosplays, but is his general interest enough to qualify him as a real fan or just a casual fan?

I get your concern. But he has autism and that's basically the ultimate qualification for being an anime fan as far as I understand.

When you dream about Chris you know it's time to take some time away from the board. Go out, have some fun, see you in a week.

At what point does giving (not taking away) Chris money go from charity to weening?
Weening = failtrolling.
It goes to failtrolling the moment when you give money to Chris in an unsuccessful effort to troll him and let other people know. When people don't let others to know about their ebin trolling, there's no failtroll to point fingers to....

Ignore people who think buying Chris' stuff is "weening" if there's no clear ulterior motive to buying stuff off of him, they're one of the reasons we had a wordfilter for the word "ween" in the first place.

Just like the title says, what opinions regarding Chris and/or Christory do you hold which deviate from the majority? For me:

BlueSpike didn't go "too far." People who say that speak as though Chris is legit mentally retarded. He very well could have avoided 90% of that shit if he wasn't so goddamned naive and stupid. That's not to say that I didn't have any problems at all with what Blue did, 'cause I did. That's just not one of them.

What did come across to me as a little mean-spirited was the fake Emily date. It just kinda reminded me of, y'know, the popular kids setting up the awkward nerd on a date with a cheerleader so they could laugh at him.

I like what Catherine did. She sucked as a troll, but I can't hate her because she was somewhat responsible for Chris starting to make videos regularly again, and she also ended up producing some funny drawings from him ("tit electrocution," anyone?).

Some of the entries in the "why Chris appears to be gay" section of the CWCki's "Homos" article are stupid. Many of them do legitimately make Chris seem like he's got some issues he needs to work out, but some just seem to be grasping at straws.

I dunno about the " Homos" article being stupid. Chris has been vehemently vocal on the fact that he is "STRAIGHT, DAMNIT!" During the golden era of trolling, it seemed to be a sure-fire way to rile him up. Indeed it was, in videos, he would exhibit childish rage at accusations that he was homosexual.

Now, you could attribute this to his autism causing childish behavior, because any logical adult is not going to get so bent out of shape about being called gay, unless there is something you're hiding, or perhaps you're grappling with your identity in your own head.

Even in high school, being called gay as an insult meant nothing to me. I didn't have to prove myself to anyone, and I certainly wasn't caring to prove it to OTHER GUYS (which are usually the ones that make those accusations)

But the phrase "Methinks thou doth protest too much" exists for a reason, and that's why I think it's completely valid that there is a gray area there when considering whether Chris may or may not in fact be gay
