This isn't an unpopular opinion per se, but I don't think Bob was actually racist in the sense of being a White Supremacist or evil Right Winger. At most he made insensitive jokes about ethnic minorities from time to time, but I don't think he outright hated anyone based on their race. I do however think he was a selfish prick and that Cole isn't exaggerating everything he says about Bob.

I agree with this. I think Bob was typical "old white man" ignorant more-so than actually racist.

Kacey was a pain in the ass. She was always sperging on the PVCC about how she wanted the Liquid Saga to be the final saga in Christory, and frequently interceded in interactions with Chris. She's quite fond of herself despite being something of a waste of space - last I heard she and Liquid had gotten married and he spent much of his time getting her milkshakes from McDonald's. She could have been a lolcow in her own right, given the appropriate circumstances.

She also never shut up about her "big tits" and how "in shape" she was compared to Chris. PROTIP: She was very fat and very out of shape.

My unpopular opinion: Chris only wants to be a girl because he sees it as easier than being a male. He feels, as a lesbian, he can find a woman to be his mommy. She will cook, clean, work, etc. while he sits at home and plays vidya. And since Chris finds any woman attractive, it will be easy for him to attract a lesbian partner!

I think that there very well could've been a "successor" to Chris, as in a lolcow that is just as funny, if not moreso than Chris himself, it's just that every one that could've been was ruined by fail-trolls.

After reading through the Striker Wolf thread, I have came to the conclusion that he is the closest we've come to finding a Chris-tier lolcow, but he was, ironically, ruined by his exposure to Kiwi.

My unpopular opinion - Kacey gets judged WAY too harshly, here at KF. I think she gets blamed for a lot of stuff, that's a pretty natural cause/effect of the circumstances she was under. Also, did anybody at the time, think that their words and actions would be poured over, and dissected in detail, almost a decade later? Cut her a break, guys!

Oh definitely. Something to keep in mind is that, back then, times were different.

A-logging Chris was in vogue. At the time, Chris was seen a homophobic (yet simultaneously being a closted hypergay), racist manchild. Kacey was hardly the first.

Kacey's calls had the same problems that the cwcipedia did. She gets a lot more flak for it though. A little conflict is essential to getting Chris to be funny. But too much conflict and you're just suppressing Chris.

We occasionally get people who have been in private contact with Chris, such as one guy who got in contact with him about the whole Lesbian sleepover thing and he got some info out of him. Then there are people who think the height of trolling him is his Youtube comments whenever he leaves them open. Chris told us in an interview he had horse manure sent to his house by a troll but we didn't hear anything about that on the forum so people definitely try to mess with him, but I take it majority of those attempts simply don't go anywhere.

There is OVERWHELMING evidence that Chris tends to deserve what's coming to him. He's not a straight horrifying bigot or murderer but the guy is a straight leech on society. .

Whether he deserves what's coming to him is largely irrelevant. What is relevant is if said trolling is A. Funny B. Not done a hundred times over. C. Leading to the discovery of new information about Chris.

Unfortunately we've heard this phrase coming from people who are angry because they're on social security themselves and are angry at Chris because they feel like they're somehow more deserving of the tardbux than Chris is that getting upset about Chris' is setting up several red flags.

Not just that, but CWC is mind-shittingly boring on his own. Without some outside force driving him into uncomfortable territory, he'd just talk about passing the latest level of his video game, or complain about how hard it is, carrying the heavy plastic bags to the car, and how the handles sliced into his hands like a +5 enchanted scalpel of autistic bullying.

I think @Marvin has talked about this - there's a real art and balance, between letting Chris be Chris, but also driving CWC into uncomfortable territory. I'd imagine it's more art, than science. Obviously, Kacey wasn't the best at this. In retrospect, @Alec Benson Leary was a fucking master (edit- more like, really good- master is overstating it)- nudging the hamster ball just enough to get that shit rolling again, but never kicking the ball down the stairs, you know? He'd just wake the hamster up, then stand back and watch the ball roll into sewer. First rate straight man.

Kacey wasn't. She wasn't a performer like Liquid, and she wasn't a good straight man like ABL. So, getting angry with Chris, was literally, the only natural place for her character to go. And if she didn't get angry? Well then the Kacey calls end around #5, because they're totally fucking boring. Or, they're really cringey, because she's not a good actress, and she's trying to do material that's way outside of her reach. (that said, Kacey calls 1-1.5 really crack me up- her ridiculous enthusiasm wins me over, every time)

So yeah, ABL could get the ball rolling with a whisper, and Kacey needed an air-horn, which could be a little annoying, granted. But it's not because she was a me-me, angry bitch IMO. It strikes me, she did the best she could do, under the circumstances.
