I don't know what's worse about the forums sometimes
the occasional singular unironic OH MY GOD CHRIS IS THE WORST HUMAN HOPE HE DIES

or the fact that any slight negative statement about chris will be interpreted as OH MY GOD CHRIS IS THE WORST HUMAN HOPE HE DIES over and over and over

can't even say something like "wow that was dumb" without someone changing it to "wow i'm gonna kill myself worse than hitler"

The trolling attempts are the funniest interactions with Chris, so they kind of overshadow all the attempts to help and befriend Chris.

Chris is a pretty unlikable person IRL.

Chris has acquaintances that he meets around town, or at least people he knows. Friends? If he has anybody left in his life he could call a friend than they probably aren't close. Even with Megan (probably the closest friend he ever had) they weren't exactly inseparable. Complete opposite in a lot of ways.
Chris is lonely, that much is obvious. But at the same time he really doesn't want the kind of constraints that having meaningful relationships with people requires. Chris isn't the kind of guy you can call and say "hey let's go to the bar" and expect him to come out on a dime. He's probably more likely to say "I'm playing PS4 ask me in a week" or something. At least as far as I can tell.
He lives a highly structured and routine existence. Chris's idea of any sort of interpersonal relationship is other people fitting themselves into that and going along with that routine. Less "Do you want to go to McDonald's" and more "I'm going to McDonald's and you can come with me", if you catch my drift.

He's also got some serious issues with anxiety and social interaction in general. He's awkward and doesn't know boundaries. That and I'm sure he's kind of infamous in the area for being "that guy" at this point.

tl;dr Chris cannot into friendship

Going to elaborate on my earlier post.

First of all, keep in mind that Chris does get out and socialize. Despite what you might think, the cwcki portrayal of Chris as only talking to Barb 24/7 and playing with legos isn't entirely accurate. He does stuff every so often around town that doesn't get mentioned on the cwcki.

I saw Chris at omegacon last year. I've observed how he socializes in the wild. He actually talked to people, got people's names, had fun. He's not unnecessarily rude or anything. It's not like he's cursing at people. His big problem is that he's just terribly uninteresting.

And at the same time, he's terribly uninterested in other people. Like, if you tried to befriend him, he'd stop talking to you as the possibility for him to bang you goes down. (Assuming you're a girl.) He'd occasionally message you to ask you something creepy, and then it's radio silence for a few weeks. "How did it feel for your labia to develop?" is pretty much a question he's asked girls before. (Particularly because Chris thinks that the hypnosis videos are working.)

Depending on how you look at it, only wanting sexual relationships isn't wrong, per se. You could just say Chris has clear goals in what he wants from "friendship". But he's obviously not going to achieve those goals.

Oh no, Chris would leap at that opportunity. It's just that no one ever invites him anywhere. He hasn't reached that level of friendship with someone in a long time. (Heh, Joshua Martinez specifically did that before, and that same drive is still present in Chris nowadays.)

Chris' problem isn't that he turns down friendships or acts particularly difficult. He just doesn't try for a friendship unless by "friendship" you mean free pussy coupons. He loses interest and wanders off.

It's not about empathy. Chris simply doesn't want friends. He wants friends like Rocky's a friend: someone who's on the list, but he contacts them maybe once a year.

This makes it hard to believe the people/person he gets out and socializes with are female. Unless they're like Anna, and have some sort of immunity from Chris's "coupon treatment".

As for Rocky, isn't it a fair call to say, she's just someone he and Barb will use if they need to.

wayavas are you serious? Chris only talks to people who can give him things, he is selfish, has a massive ego, and only uses people to get what something. Yes hes gullible and easily trolled, but he its not like he is not deserving. Hes a horrible human being, a lazy manchild who yelled at his brother to give him money when hes perfectly capable of doing work.

Stop your white knighting, your coming off more autistic than Chris. I dont think this forum is the place for you.

He made remarks to the effect that if he didn't draw SheCameforCWC, he would've done something "really stupid."

Whether it was an actual threat to Megan's safety or a woefully misguided plea for pity sex is immaterial. Same result either way.

He most likely would have slobbered over her and groped her. I think that's the worst Chris is capable of, which while disgusting, isn't really threatening or harmful.
