Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Man that Lainchu Manifesto is a load of autism. I just read it. As someone who didn't really follow Chris after 2016 or so until the Merge, it didn't really enlighten me about events that I knew or cared much about, but it's still interesting just for the absurdity of it all. Anaxis comes off as broadly truthful but it's just so weird to me how invested he is in putting his story out there. Search doesn't really come up with anything so clearly Farmers don't care. Who does?

It really makes the Watchmen look like the worst of the worst. Obviously not in terms of harm done, but rather they look awful as clout-chasing kids with powerful autism. It's kind of sad. Anaxis seems to be the best of the worst but I'm still baffled as to how/why someone would put themselves in that kind of situation and then devote so much time to explaining themself. I guess the answer is already laid out: Autism, Discord, being a teenager. I suppose this was already obvious to anyone who followed Chris in 2021, but I did not.

At least I assume they're all zoomers. If not it's even sadder.

They hate the fact that they are too late to the chris party so they try to squish something so they can be part of Christory...but usually it blows up in their faces, as it should

Idk what it is about Chris, but he's the only cow I find entertaining at any level. I've tried checking out the others that get posted about in this apple orchard and just don't get it. Dude just hit a sweet spot of cowish-ness that none of the others can or do.

I can't help but think of the contrast between all that zoomer drama and Chris' antics during the classic era. A man that craps his pants, drinks his own "navy," and gets run out of public places while searching for a "sweetheart" is infinitely more entertaining than a bunch of poorly socialized Zoomers getting into arguments in Discord. Fuck, even the Idea Guys, as awful as they were, were far more entertaining than the WCT crew.

I'm curious if there's such a thing as a disorder born from too much dopamine, much like how diabetes happens when your blood sugar is too consistently high.

Dopamine is more than just the hug chemical or whatever they want to call it.

You can just OD on it if you take too much, and I think you'd have a heart attack.

Parkinson's meds cause increases in dopamine that are associated with gambling addiction, risky behavior, and imo general dementia/cognitive decline.

It's a can of worms for sure but I'd say a large large portion of ADHD nowadays could be described accurately as lifestyle-induced dopamine addiction, typically tech-focused. I.e. watching tiktok until your brain rots away and you can no longer focus without subway surfer slime storytime.

Dopamine is also pretty closely related to adrenalin. And involved in lots of mood disorders like bipolar.

Honestly a big thing I’ve been wondering that for all these years Chris was so desperate to have friends of any capacity that why did he simply not call the good Samaritans line when he was feeling down? They’re the one group of people that are obligated to look after or give a shit about listening to whatever problems you want to bitch about no matter who or how pathetic you or current situation is, If he wanted to butch about things when he was down he could have simply asked them and it may have helped him feel less alone in a sense? Maybe he would have overused it and may have been blocked but like it would have been something?

You clearly haven't met Mr. Chance Wilkins aka "Cyrax". Maybe not on the same level as CWC, but still a massive train wreck in his own right.

Random thought: I'm surprised Chris never got into minecraft. Usually people with lego-brain like minecraft. He could have made a qwkville with all the free time he has.

How often does Chris cry?
Almost never would be my guess. Especially since the Merge. He may have cried whenever it really hit him that he wouldn't be coming home, but his general tendency is to get angry or pouty when he runs into obstacles. I can't think of any recordings we have of Chris actually crying. There have been plenty of videos where I think Chris is genuinely sad. Usually this is because of petty shit or the inevitable intrusion of reality pushing away his fantasies, but there are a few examples like Bob'e hs death and the fire where he probably did cry with good reason. Not that we have evidence of either.

I think he has cried while being recorded a couple of times (Kacey breakup might be on), but it was probably for show. He has probably been genuinely depressed and miserable at points in his life, but plenty of depressed people never cry. Further, I'd say he probably cried more pre-discovery and in the Classic Era but nowadays more or less never does it. He may have the odd tantrum, but that's not why I have in mind when I think of crying. More yelling and moaning, no actual tears.

I do wonder if Chris has the actual capacity to go legitimately mentally insane form sheer stress alone. He wants so desperately to find some form of escape but if pushed far enough would it be possible? One can't really will themselves into madness it normally comes from experiencing extreme trauma or sadness or sheer frustration? When Barb finally dies will the feeling he's completely alone finally hit him and he'll just explode into tears of terror and rage?

What if on a stormy, rainy October evening CWC found a shuddering, wet Fluttershy near his house, soaked by the rain, scared and shivering?
Would he take her in, and pamper her back to health? Or has Chris-tard become so heartless to leave the little pony out in the rain? :heart-empty:
If he took her in, how would the two get along with each other? Would Fluttershy try to improve him? Or would she turn evil and ruin his life as a Fluttertroll?

The cashier at the new age store where he was spotted said he smelled like pure shit and she had to breathe through her mouth.
I wonder what Chris smells like at this point? Might be nice to get little snorf right up in there to inhale the cheesy musty crusty stink!! What’s an Nice amongst friends eh?

The Lainchu Manifesto is one of the most boring pieces of CWC related media I had the displeasure of reading. And that comes from someone that finds the Kacey Calls to be very entertaining.
I appreciate the documentation of events, the screenshots and all. But this fella writes this story like he's one of the NAVY SEALS sent to kill Bin Laden and now decided to disclose all the classified documents to the public. His recollection of events is filled with an air of "excitement" and "grand adventure" when in reality is just a bunch of teenagers just fighting to interact with Chris.
And it's treated like an action comic in Da Update for some reason. "Get the next issue of Lainchu Manifesto! Where you'll find Anaxis's DMs with Chris, some chats and other assorted random shit too! Get it now!"

I am honestly shocked Chris looks fondly back on high school days with such fondness considering how badly even today autistic people can get treated, not to power level too much but I’m just on the cusp end of being millennial age and autistic people still get often the short end of the stick even in modern schools.

Chris is obviously a unreliable narrator to say the least, but how was he not more bullied considering back in the 90s and understanding of autism was much lower than now. Did he just get ridiculously lucky and Manchester High was actually really chill and staunchly liberal with dealing with kids with disabilities? Was it because his parents paid teens to be nice to him? How did he get so lucky?
