Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

My father's absentee ballot was mailed back yesterday. It turns out he didn't put it in the RIGHT envelope. :\

Praetor said of this image "This scene in particular is meant to be a rendition of the bible story of Christ divinely multiplying the bread and fish brought by the hungry masses. However, Christine noted a correction he wanted made. Christine states that Christ did not make more fish or bread, but instead infused holy power into each bite so that only a bite would be needed to sate hunger."

So it would seem Chris is aware of the usual interpetation but specifically wants to 'correct' it
To be fair it's no less retarded than the actual loaves and fishes story in the bible

I hope this isn't powerleveling, but I was poking around Wikitree yesterday and found out that I'm descended from
Hugh and Isabel Bardolf on my mom's side. Meaning I'm distantly related to Chris. Excuse me while I go throw up.
Please don't reproduce. Nothing against you but it's for the best of humanity if people related to them are not reproducing

I wasn’t going to. Even if I ever do find the right girl the only kids we're going to have are the kind that meow and purr (and I know how ironic it is for a cat lover to have ALF as his avatar)

It’s a pretty interesting development Chris going to Finland since aside from Flutter I’m not sure how much he can be enjoying it, at least once the novelty of being in a foreign location wears off, autistic people infamously dislike change and Chris especially loves American consumerism, media and fast food.

The speculation of Chris marrying Flutter and actually moving to Finland seems really strange in particular unless there’s something major we don’t know about since I really don’t get why he wouldn't instead be insisting she moves over to America instead.

In my humble opinion, Chris can't provide for himself, he needs a "life tutor". We've seen that throughout his life, by the way. All the good decisions he made in his early years as a young adult were mainly thanks to Bob's help. I imagine that his father strongly encouraged him to take the plunge into working life, acquiring a driver's license and a university degree. Otherwise, Chris would be completely on his own. He lives by other people's choices, not his own. He doesn't form his own opinion of the world around him.

Today, whatever people say, what's happening to him right now with Praetor and Flutter are good indicators of a relatively stable existence. One way or another, until they eventually give up, his life is currently under the responsibility of several protagonists, in a safe and supervised way. In my opinion, Chris couldn't live on his own. Sooner or later, he'd end up in debt, squandering all his savings on toys and accessories.

Idk he could steal from Barb online.

I think it's 10 % incompetence 90 % laziness.

He's retarded, not mindless.

Bob got Chris onto the tugboat, which provided (and still provides) him with an income he didn't have to earn. That, right there, contributed massively to Chris' sense of entitlement that persists to this day.

Neither one of his parents were equipped to handle their tardspawn, and actively refused help with doing so. There are a great many more reasons why Chris is the fucked-up individual that he is today, but his parents did Jack-shit to set him up for any kind of actual self-sufficiency in life. Anything that may have seemed caring, instructive, or beneficial to Chris is purely coincidental and likely misses the mark in terms of intended vs. actual results.

No. Chris doesn't have a stable existence: he's basically property and can be discarded at any time he becomes inconvenient. Calling any of the praetards "protagonists" for keeping him in what is basically indentured servitude belies a serious lack of understanding of the situation.

Incidentally, none of this should be interpreted to mean that I have sympathy for Chris. I don't. Anyone who has sex with their own mother doesn't deserve it, but I can see the contributing factors that got him to where he is today and how they have shaped the behaviour he does nothing to improve.

Riveting commentary, the height of journalism. :stress:

The rest of the post is good I just thought that quote was funny.

For context:

One thing worth mentioning: if someone establishes residency in an EU member state, that does not allow them to reside in another member state. It doesn't prevent visiting other EU countries, but if doing so it's generally a good idea to have a round-trip ticket back to your country of residence with you, as well as enough cash to show that you're able to cover your costs while travelling, your passport, and residency visa.

Just bringing it up pre-emptively. If he goes to Finland, he's basically there until he either leaves or obtains citizenship.

I get how it sounds pulled out of context, but ehh. It's a stretch for a funnay.

I guess Chris can vote for Lisa Simpson after all.

So I was going about Chris's family tree because of some other post I read and it looks like Savannah is some sort of nurses assistant around 9 years ago... And she has the same diagnosis as her uncle.

And this girl's only 20 at the time 30 now.

It really does come right down to laziness doesn't it?

Pretty much. Bob's daughter has a PhD in math and his other son is an optometrist or some kind of eye doc

For sure parenting but also maybe enviroment. She got better care then locked in a closet. Her internet access was probably restricted but made sure it was healthy...

Nah parenting for sure. Barb was a trash as s mother and Bob was to old to care. Bob probably thought his kids are doctors and Chris would be one too, or at least honor roll
