Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

It looks like Chris was a fan of Guns N' Roses judging by what looks like a poster of Slash in the photo. And here I thought he only listened to pop music...

Don't forget that MHS was near Richmond and PVCC is in Charlottesville. With no disrespect intended to PVCC or community colleges in general, it is rare to go to community college so far away, when there are many fairly interchangeable ones in between. Chris ended up at PVCC because of his unusual family situation that led him to move from Richmond to Charlottesville. I wouldn't expect any of his MHS classmates to have that same situation.

Chris waited 3 years to start his love quest because he doesn't really want a sweetheart. At some point, because of something someone said or something, he concluded that he should want one. Because he is not capable of subtlety, and because he didn't have a lot going on, it became his raison d'etre,

I think Sarah Hammer was going to PVCC for a while, but she was seeing some JERK at the time. Not sure if it was Wes Iseli or someone else. . .

He just went to class, slept, played his vidya, and went home. His first years were even less ambitious than we give him credit for.

Why would someone from Richmond commute an hour for a community college when the other CCs closer by? I don't think anyone from the Chris' MHS years went to PVCC during his 5 years there.

Honestly shocked that he would frame his posters. Maybe it's cause I use movie posters for home decoration but this seems like the most adult thing Chris has ever done.

See, what gets me about this whole thing is that out of all the posters and pictures he has in his room, the picture of a blue haired anime girl is the only one he found important enough to buy a frame for.
 
How would you react if it was revealed one day that everything about Chris Chan was this whole time, nothing but a well conceived act to fool the entire world, regardless of what the actual purpose was or how long it continued?

Not that this is true of course, but just saying...
 
^ That's pretty much what people thought. When I first saw threads on 4-cent-garbage about him, I assumed it was some kind of viral marketing (I don't think this was simultaneous with LonelyGirl15, but those sort of things were happening). Many people weren't convinced that he was legit until they saw the videos of him as a kid from the "Yep I'm on TV" collection.

So, apparently today is "World Autism Day".
A special day for all of us, obviously, but an even more special day for our beloved CWC. My question is this; do you think Chris even knows this day exists? He may have touched on it in a video, but I can't remember.

That Chris wasn't legit wasn't a common belief. The "Yep I'm on TV" dvd might've helped, I guess, but there weren't really many serious believers that Chris was faking. His interactions with people were enough that most people just didn't have serious doubts.

Now, what really tweaked tons of people was "Rollin and Trollin." It's not that people saw that and actually believed that Chris was telling the truth, but it put a bit of doubt into them. And that's all that was needed. There were so many people who were really worried that Chris might actually have been jerking them around. Really, I wish we had waited a week before Chris released "CWC Trollin More", just so all those people could sweat for a week about the possibility Chris was trolling them all this time.

This has probably been asked before, but why was (and probably still is) Barb not letting Chris stay in his own room? That's messed up.

...But seriously. Chris and Barb sharing a room is upsetting enough. Personally, I wonder if it resulted in Chris no longer watching porn (evidenced by the craigslist ad) or simply resigned to watching it with his mom. The implication there being Barb would rather watch porn with her autistic son than be alone.
