Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Okay, but WHERE exactly does Chris dress up as I've explained? And no, Sonichu and self-insertion Chris (dressed as himself) doesn't count.

A link to the comic page or issue number would help.

EDIT: Wait, I found it, no worries.

TBH, I've read more about Our Pet Lolcow than I have of his web comic, Sonichu.

Were the pages from the second half of Sonichu #11 (the ones that make the dark twists from Evangelion look like Teletubies) Truly and Honestly Chris's doing, or the work of someone who copied his art style?

The best place for Sonichu answers: http://cwckiforums.com/forums/sonichu.20/

But, no, Chris did not draw the second half of Sonichu #11.

did they go to UVA?
I don't know.

But a gal pal could have moved to C Ville and enrolled in PVCC because a parent lived there and she wanted to live with that parent after high school, or she got a job there and wanted to work and study at the same time, or a variety of other hypothetical reasons.

Sonic Sez.

I'm beginning to wonder… if Sonic didn't exist at all, would little Chris have eventually killed himself by attempting to ride the clothes dryer?

Yeah I know, that is :alog: and very crazy of me. Sorry. :(

Something I was wondering was, what exactly was the outcome Chris was hoping for in the trials for the October 2011 incident? I heard it was something to do with owning the Game Place among other things, but that's about all I know.

Well after the grievous emotional and physical harm that Mikes trap caused Chrissy, he was expecting at least a million dollar settlement. After all he was an upstanding citizen and former Gym Leader! This should have been obvious to any impartial judge right?

But knowing his curse was slowly destroying the Game Place and that Mike didn't have the money to club up he was generously willing to take possession of the store and wave all other damages.

Sadly the judge turned out to be in the pay of one Clyde Cash and so Chrissy was subject to a travesty of justice and in stead of Mike being sent to jail and paying Chrissy for all his mental anguish it ended up with Chrissy being fined and Mike walking away.

Truly justice was absent in that courtroom. *sigh*

Say he did get the store. How would he run it? I know he would get rid of all microsoft products and most likely only order shit he personally liked to stock...so basically a bunch of shit almost nobody would want. I feel sure any ads or signs for it would end with a plea for sex. I think he would have a rule or system in place to separate male and female customers but what it would be eludes me.

I think it would be a little like an s&m club full of kids toys.

Eh, not how he reacted to Bob's death.

You've probably answered this a bajillion times already, but what can you tell us about how Chris reacted to Bob's death?

I can never keep track of what details I've mentioned before and what I haven't. So, right now, I guess I'll say that he reacted to it like any person would react to the sudden (as Chris viewed it) death of someone they were very close to. And really, Chris was a lot closer to his father than most people his age would be. It was typical mourning: sobbing, the person in question dominating their thoughts all the time, etc.

Chris expected to get off from the charges, and for some crazy reason, he also expected to be awarded the Game Place. He never justified why he thought that.

If Chris could watch Family Guy and view it as anti-gay, I don't see any reason Sonic Sez would change his worldview.

Yeah but Family Guy is ironical and sarcastic. Sonic is for kids and has autism so he's direct.

You're on jury duty
You learn about the defendant
There are multiple hearings
You go home and think "what the hell, I'll google his name"
Cannot unsee ignore google results

Nah there were no jurors, but maybe the judge did that.

I think he just wanted it to happen. Chris' grasp on logic is not great, so he can make a logical leap and land wherever he wants. My guess is something like this: "I feel hard done by by the GamePlace. I would feel like it was even if I owned the place. Therefore that would be a fair and just decision."

Isn't that sort of surprising since Chris seems to have no empathy most of the time?

I think it was along the lines of - he felt he was the person being wronged by Michael Snyder, that he felt it was a trap set up by him and the troll conspiracy, and he felt that not only would the charges be dropped against him, Michael Snyder would be the one prosecuted for his role in trolling and Chris would get The GAMe PLACe so he could finally have all the friends he's ever wanted.

Empathy's got nothing to do with it. It's not like he's sorry for Bob because being dead must suck.
Chris lost half of all the people he knew at once, I don't see why people are surprised that he was devastated.
Maybe because he never seemed to appreciate him when he was alive, and during his final months, seemed uninterested in his condition.

How much do you think Linkara actually knows about Chris Chan, considering he's said before he outright refuses to review Sonichu?

Chris thought he'd still have Bob for a long, long time. He didn't pay attention to his condition because it would be impossible for it to kill him, so he'd just wait 'til he'd be cured of it and talk to him then. Kinda the same thing with not appreciating him while he was alive. Bob would always be around, so what's the hurry?

I'm sure any weens who probably asked him to review the comic probably told him some details about Chris, and maybe said some A-loggy stuff about how pathetic he was.
