Maybe working at a library would be good for him.
Library positions vary wildly in their requirements - library assistants can be high school graduates but some places require a bachelor's degree, and actual librarian positions may require a master's degree in library and information science.

At a small podunk local library, Chris's associate's degree could be helpful in his job search. You're probably thinking of someone who does stuff like return books to shelves, but a lot of that is often done by volunteers, including ones from Friends of the Library. He'd have to have some interaction with people though. He might have to help out with various library programs. Greene County Library has quite a few, actually. These include the Midori Manga Meetup, Gaming @ Greene, and Lego at the Library. I'd imagine any librarian worth their salt would easily find information about why Chris should be kept away from the kids at these events which he would be attracted to.

Charlottesville has an opening right now for a courier, making $15.75 an hour. This requires an "acceptable driving record" and I would assume running over Michael Snyder would preclude him from that. However, that was a long time ago. The job expects some physical labor as well, including moving objects up to 100 pounds occasionally. I think it would be a long shot for Chris to get that job.

Chris has terrible work ethic. You can motivate him to work by paying him right away or hold something over his head like being homeless.

That's because besides of being greedy and lazy, he doesn't have delayed gratification. Also he's not grateful for anything and expect things to go his way because it sort of has (mostly because people don't want to deal with his retarded ass). Of course the weens don't help.

If he had a job, it has to pay him instantly. If he waits for a biweekly check then he expects it to be for a ridiculously large amount as he had to wait to be paid and since he waited, since he was stressed that he waited so he expects more pay. The only reason he doesn't complain about the tug boat is because it's like his housing situation, either take it as it is or get nothing, there is no alternative.

I'm waiting for caden to kick him out, or better yet, both get kicked out and the house goes to foreclosure.

Been indulging in my own autism laced musings last weekend, and throughly analysed the Christian and the Hedgehog boys album and tried to provide a personal review of it. Yes, this is severely retarded, but I thought id sure it to see if anyone else has ever listened to the entire album, or wants to talk about any of the given songs. Thought id share my shitpost-y review for some insight.

For those uninitiated I have provided links with time stamps if you choose to listen to these beautiful renditions from Cwc Music! on Youtube.

Tracks:

So Need a Cute Girl 0:00

Cover of: I want it that way - Backstreet Boys
Favourite lyric: "Tell me why I ain't ever want to hear you say.... I HAVE A BOYFRIEND"
Overall rating: 4.5 *
Comments: A true gem. Should have been used by Geno as the outro song on the final episode of the documentary. Probably Chris's most famous piece of music. Inaudible at times, pauses for breath, loudest backing music of all of them in the album to my ears. Sets out Chris's intentions to the audience and his deepest desires. Perfect, in a sense. If you found this Album with NO context of Chris and kept listening, you ARE the perfect target audience.

Sonichu's Zip 3:20

Cover of: Sonic Drive - Hironobu Kageyama and Hideaki Takator
Favourite lyric: "He's Uncatchable!" (presumably in reference to Sonichu
Overall rating: 2.5*
Comments: Interesting that the song is the first to highlight another member of the band - guitarist Sonichu, and arguably, backing guitarist Sonic. Due to the language barrier on the backing track, some parts are genuinely inaudible. Trying to listen to this and concentrate is genuinely impossible. A song for the more intense Chris fan, that is for sure.

A-U-T-I-S-M 4:54

Cover of: Larger Than Life - The Backstreet Boys
Favourite lyric: "Silence and Friends Unseen! A few brains as well"
Overall rating: 3*
Comments: My my, a SECOND Backstreet boys song! Chris sure liked his boybands. I dont understand what drew him to them considering he was like, 17 when these songs released. Not exactly his childhood songs, but as a perpetual child.... Anyway, the song focuses on Chris's intense battle with Autism throughout his life. As a fellow autist, I relate to absolutely none of it. I can see what he was genuinely attempting to do in this song - potray his experiences to someone else. Does it land? No. But there IS an attempt. More than his lazy ass does today.

BFF's (Best Friends Forever) 8:47

Cover of: If Only Tears Could Bring You Back - Midnight Sons
Favourite lyric: "Your Boyfriend who acts as a Black Sonichu"
Overall rating: 3.5*
Comments: A romantic Ballard, this song is presumably directed towards a gal pal he has feelings for. Could be Sarah Hammer, Barbara, or you. Yes, you. Maybe it touched your soul. Interestingly, this was produced at the time Blake was referred to as Black Sonichu. Whilst Blake goes on to be the hero, he was seen as evil at this time, but simultaneously appears IN the band both on the drums and guitar which is intriguing. What did Chris mean by this, and why are there two of them. Maybe it has some extreme deep meaning about his longing for a girlfriend, and his symbiotic relationship between Blake's fraught past and bright future. That, or he was too fucking lazy to draw a different member of the chaotic combo to join the band. Personally, I would have nominated Bionic.

La Cocina en La Casa de Casanova 12:43

Cover of: La Copa De La Vida - Ricky Martin
Favourite lyric: "OLE, OLE, Ole!"
Overall rating: 1*
Comments: A shout out to all the latin, Spanish and uber driving Sonichu fans, La Cocina en La Casa de Casanova is.... awful. Now, I can speak VERY rudimentary Spanish, as Welsh and English are my only real languages. That being said, the lyrics are... odd. The song seems to be about a kitchen in some random house.... Why? What was the artistic goal of this? Probably to show off his loose grasp of Spanish. The only bit I liked was his incredibly flamboyant Ole! shouting.

Yellow is a Mellow Color 14:39

Cover of: Macarena - Los Del Rio
Favourite lyric: "Travelling without a map, is like travelling with no map"
Overall rating: 4*
Comments: WHAT A TUNE. Absolute gem. Kanye, Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe. I mean, LOOK at the lyrics. "Travelling without a map, is like travelling with no map" - I could write essays on the insight and depth of this message. I, for one, have travelled before without a map, and it is astonishing that nobody had ever acknowledge to me previously that doing so is indeed like travelling, except, with NO MAP. Chris also wisely tells us to never put a banana in our pyjamas, and to NEVER make Sonichu play the cello. Simply amazing.

Feel So Lonesome 16:06

Cover of: (You Drive Me) Crazy - Britney Spears
Favourite lyric: "if No girl comes, Ill break my arm"
Overall rating: 3.5*
Comments: Well, like the song it covers, I have gone insane. This song is back on the theme of Chris and the love quest, similar to that of A-U-T-I-S-M. Chris yearns for a woman, showing he has moved past his insight or jealousy on display in BFF. This is a real progression throughout the album - It shows Chris's growth, his learning and advancement of his musical talents. Despite his obvious elite level production, he is unfortunately still not at the level to achieve a 18-21 smoke free white non alcoholic boyfriend free girl of his dreams. The journey this album has been on is a real roller coaster.

Christian & The Hedgehog Boys Theme 19:27

Cover of: Open Your Heart - Crush 40
Favourite lyric: "Sonichu and Sonic, rocking the atomic!"
Overall rating: 2.5*
Comments: To round off the album, a track that embodies the gang, and wraps up their journeys. This one is genuinely the most incomprehensible to hear Chris's words over the genuinely good rock instrumental. Intriguingly, Chris chose a version with no lyrics, meaning these are entirely his own. After reading a transcript to try and understand some of the depth. Given his loneliness in the previous track, this is an upbeat way to end the debut album of the group. It shows that They are together, they have each other, and Chris is an amazingly gifted young man with brilliant musical talent.

Album total score: 3* after totalling up my scores. Not bad. Not bad at all. Wonder how it stands up to his other musical works.

If you, for some retarded reason, enjoyed this: I might review the other two albums in a couple of days because I have a directionless life and fill my time with this.

Okay so Chris's heterochromia... Never really talked about it before. So I went and looked to see if I could see it and... Yeah. I guess when eye is slightly green. So I look at his younger picture from when he was a kid because the Cwiki says it was more prominent but I still don't see it!

Now I remember as a kid seeing a teacher with very distinct heterochromia. One blue eye and one brown eye and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Still do.

But I really just don't see it with Chris. I've seen cats and dogs with more heterochromia but Chris doesn't have the condition enough to fool with. Even claiming that his child self lives in his blue eye.

I don't think he's brought up for a while, knowing Chrissy he may have even forgotten about it, yeah I mean it's only the slightest shade of a different color it's noticeable if you're really looking into his eyes but not enough to brag about.

Chris regularly gets mentioned as one of the first Youtubers, one of the first incels, one of the first of the new wave of internet-forged troons, and so on.

A Chris Chan 'first' I don't think I've ever seen anyone mention before is that he managed to invent The Poolrooms, an extremely popular internet aesthetic meme, a decade or so before anyone else latched onto it, with his Watery Maze Dream video. The imagery might be drawn in a childlike style, but it's right out of the unofficial video game.

I wonder if there's an innate connection between autism and whatever draws people towards liminal spaces. I remember having lots of dreams in similar settings when I was a child, though none of them involved a Love Quest.

To be fair, Palestinians are the niggers of the Arab world, right below blacks.
Since you're a mod i'll ask you directly, what would it take to get a new sub thread for the Chris Chan section? I have an idea for a "Subliminal Chris Chan References" thread, things you see in day to day life that instantly make you think of Chris Chan. I mean look at these two they're perfect examples and it would be interesting to see people from all over the world posting their own subtle accidental chris chan references that they see while out and about.

Imagine cwc condoms.

A brand only mother approves.
With a face only a mother could love.

It's too bad Barb can't love.

For Christmas. Or Hanukkah.

I also want a thread for yarn.

It might just be better to DM them, mate.

I feel like prime Chris Chan has this distinct aesthetic to it that will be a big part of why Chris continues to draw interest from future audiences. When you delve into the archives nowadays you feel a strong sense of nostalgia, not necessarily for the iconic antics of Chris himself but also for everything surrounding them. I think it's a mix of his childishness, media obsession, old internet presence, and how long and extensive the documentation has been for

You read the cwcki or watch one of the classic videos and you'll see Animal Crossing and Little Big Planet on a CRT, toys, crayon drawings, mall culture, oldfag anime, 144p standard definition video, console wars, bronyism, newspaper clippings, random pop culture references, local news segments, fan wikis and forums, an infantile striped sweater, brick and mortar game stores, and all other sorts of relics. His immaturity almost gave him an unaging quality for a stretch of time. The clutter and age of his parents almost makes his videos feel like they're set in a demented version of grandma's house. The deep regard for high school, the quixotic view of romance, the use corny terms like "jerkops", and the general cartoony surrealism makes it almost feel like he's playing a dweeb character in a movie about high schoolers.

5-10 years ago the surrealism was obviously still there but the nostalgia was not as palpable

I'm glad someone noticed this as well since I've been thinking about. The Classic Era definitely does have a certain sense of nostalgia, not exactly all Chris but the time period he was living in that is strangely reflected in his old videos.

Then along came Bob's death and the abortion that is Chris's troon phase and it just doesn't have the feel anymore.

You really are on to something. I think that more generally, as crazy as that may sound, oldschool CWC was also a bit more "innocent." Following his exploits used to be all about silly TV news reports, 4chan trolls catfishing him, him going onto college campuses to ask for a girlfriend, etc. Nowadays, the average lolcow is about... literal incest and murdering people and terrorism and crack and other heinous shit. Not to sound old, but it feels like lolcows used to be a bit more fun and not quite this dark and disgusting.

Sadly the internet in general has gone downhill I feel, it’s not like the old days..

There's something about Chris since he got out of jail that I find odd and noticeable. Aside from the obvious issue of never providing evidence that he didn't fuck Barb (because he has no evidence), Chris has yet to even offer a story as to how Bella supposedly manipulated him in the first place. He constantly says that she tricked him or took his words out of context, but he's never even attempted to make up an explanation for how that actually happened, and actively refuses to go into any detail even when people press him on it. I feel like in the past when Chris has lied about stuff like this, he goes to some (often elaborate) length to justify it, but with this specifically he seems unwilling to.
