Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

We all know that it took Chris six years to get an associates in CAD... which means he was probably taking like one or two classes at a time in between his suspensions. But does anyone ever wonder how it was that Chris was able to get through college level courses in order to obtain said degree? Also are there any stories about his return to college? That part of his life has little info.

From a cognitive standpoint, Chris is actually capable enough to do college and keep a minimum wage job at least.. Lots of other autists do, some of them are even billionaires!

Where Chris is completely fucked up is with the parenting & the lack of special ed, consider that even when he was expelled from PVCC for very convincing reasons, his parents still took his side vehemently, even in the face of him looking like a sex solicitor in the eyes of the law. They later enabled him while he went on to repeat said crime in many other public places.

They simply abandoned him in their minds, you can argue that Bob somewhat tried, but he was no-assing it as much as Barb ever did. The only difference is that he cared enough not to let Chris embarrass him in public.

I am planning on doing another one of my characteristically long, possibly autistic posts on Chris's parents. The main challenge is time, I am far too busy this week to properly organize my thoughts on their weird ass style of parenting & all of it's contradictions.

The answer to most of your questions is that we just don't know. Chris likes to crow that he was "Honor Roll" in high school but hasn't made a similar claim for college. He's never released his transcripts and he's never said what his grades were. Chris was only suspended from college once, for one year. Maybe he was going to school part time, or maybe he had to repeat a lot of classes. Since he switched his major from marketing, this might have been a reason why it took him longer, since most of his required courses were directly related to CADD and very few marketing classes would have mattered towards his new major. He has said almost nothing about his return to college after his suspension, only that he hated the school and was very relieved to graduate. I'm sure he kept his head down after all the shit he had to go through.

The fact is that Chris did graduate with a degree. He did the required college-level work. This can be attributed to a combination of low academic standards and Chris not being quite as retarded as his fanbase assumes. Chris routinely met with a Disability Support Services staffer, which indicates that PVCC was familiar with the needs of the slow-minded. Colleges want students to graduate because a higher graduate rate makes them seem more competent. I'm also guessing that after all the shit they had to go through with Borb they wanted him out of their hair with as little friction as possible.

Given that Chris has a penchant for playing games that allows one to create their own character, how likely is it that he's bought that new Sonic game that allows players to make their own deviantart OCs?

(Or @normankrasner does the thing I do where I notice I doubleposted and merges it manually, something normal users should be able to do with their posts without this dumb thing of pasting them together and then deleting one.)

Taking a remedial course just means you have to take an extra class or two to strengthen your skills in math and English so that you are able to pass the required courses you need to achieve your degree.

As for tard majors you may be right, but what kind of job would you even be able to get with that?

So occasionally I like to put one of Chris' pictures into a celebrity lookalike site and I usually end up getting some result like Chris looks like Henry Kissinger or Jim Balushi, but last night I put in one of his Pride festival pics. I got this:

some places will hire any new college grad, even philosophy majors, while that kind of degree will just make you overqualified for some places
