Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Quit reading the cwcki so literally. I own and run the cwcki. It's all bullshit. You're meant to laugh at it, not autistically take it literally.
You keep saying that stuff about cwcki, and it really confuses me. You're saying that you've published misrepresentations of Chris, but you're upset because you think people believe these never-specified misrepresentations? And that Chris's behaviour didn't attract trolling, but he was exceptional enough for you to run a wiki documenting him, and for you to have trolled him yourself? (But that was Ok because it was before The Day Trolling Chris Became Unacceptable.) And that Chris's trolling could really happen to anyone- if we got enough emails we, too, would be convinced to send strangers video of us farting on cakes or cooing in diapers, or to believe that our imaginary hedgehog-world was invaded by nazis? Maybe it is my autism, because I'm really struggling to put those dots together.

But as far as the "you just think that because of the CWCki" stuff goes, Chris's exceptionalism stands on it's own. There's dozens of hours of primary audio or video evidence of Chris's retarrdation, as well as the chatlogs, emails, facebook, twitter, etc. Unless you're saying the cwcki flat out fabricates that stuff, I think you're overestimating the influence of the opinions on there. Besides, even if the cwcki didn't exist, jokes about Chris's gullibility and insanity (which I assume is what the "don't believe the cwcki" stuff is about) would happen anyway, because that stuff is the natural response to the way he's acted, which is kinda my point.

I'm not saying Chris wasn't trolled insanely hard, or that he deserved the trolling, or that his trolls were great people. I've never trolled him, I never tried to troll him, I never encouraged anyone else to troll him. I'm just saying that his trolling was a result of Chris's own behaviour (whether or not it snowballed out of control afterwards). Not sure why that's controversial unless you think people just randomly selected an internet user and happened to pick Chris.

don't forget Kengle's dumb enabling of the whole thing for kengling reasons beyond normal autists' comprehension.

I don't. That stupid fat fuck still doesn't understand why it was wrong to encourage Chris in his blarms rampage.

Chris put himself on stage. The trolls were just the first people who gave him the audience he was seeking.

The crazy pacer story was just some normie, well, relatively normie compared to Chris I suppose, noticing his crazy public behavior. Nobody was trolling him then and he was still acting like a complete freak.

He was already an autism when he won that Sega thing, too.

Wait...he swerves to deliberately hit things and is easily distracted?

I'm amazed he hasn't been pulled over more often.
He's been known to do it. Probably not very often, but even doing it once doesn't imply very good driving judgement.

He swerved once to hit a snake in the road because "snakes are evil" or some shit.
You're saying that you've published misrepresentations of Chris, but you're upset because you think people believe these never-specified misrepresentations?
I believe people should read the cwcki more critically.
And that Chris's behaviour didn't attract trolling, but he was exceptional enough for you to run a wiki documenting him, and for you to have trolled him yourself?
Chris' behavior provided the very initial germ. Two months of Chris' behavior led to ten years of trolling and harassment.
(But that was Ok because it was before The Day Trolling Chris Became Unacceptable.)
It's been getting gradually more unacceptable the whole time. For example, the main group of trolls disbanded when Bob died. That was in, what, 2011?

We felt that continuing to troll Chris when Barb was elderly was a very tricky proposition. What if you're pretending to be a girl when Barb does? Chris will come to you for comfort. How would you feel if Chris is blubbering about his mother's death and you know that his life is ruined, and you're not really a girl but some neckbeard in California?

We felt it was time to get out.
And that Chris's trolling could really happen to anyone- if we got enough emails we, too, would be convinced to send strangers video of us farting on cakes or cooing in diapers, or to believe that our imaginary hedgehog-world was invaded by nazis?
The specific way the trolling would manifest itself would be different, of course. Hedgehogs or cakefarts probably wouldn't work on a normal person. However wearing diapers? Solid chance that would work.

If you played it off as some sort of kinky fetish the girl is into, many guys would go great lengths to get laid.

It's what the cwcki doesn't tell you that's missing. All the background that went into justifying and explaining why Chris should do something is completely absent. And there was a lot of it. There's at least 100 hours of phone calls that's not recorded, for example.

Ivy's whole saga was unrecorded as well. We ultimately did a retrospective with her and recounted what we remembered. And of course, memories can be fuzzy.

Again, it's like an iceberg. 10% above water, 90% below.
I'm just saying that his trolling was a result of Chris's own behaviour (whether or not it snowballed out of control afterwards).
I'd say 10 years is a pretty long lasting snowball.
Not sure why that's controversial unless you think people just randomly selected an internet user and happened to pick Chris.
It's not that Chris isn't weird or funny. He's definitely a lolcow.

But he's ripe for branding and marketing. His distinctive fashion, his funny way of talking, the medallion, "cwc". Hell, Clyde was great at marketing himself as a big troll villain. Liquid too. The whole thing became a performance where Chris' natural behavior didn't really matter, because people could manipulate him behind the scenes into performing properly regardless.

Like Chris didn't always take the bait, for example. We had to invent reasons why Chris had to make a certain video. Like "hey chris, he's saying he created sonichu! y'know legally he can take control of the copyright if you don't openly challenge him, you gotta make a video to set the record straight! trust me, my dad's a lawyer."

Without the scripting, sure, Chris would still be a lolcow, he'd just have a single, slow moving thread. Not, y'know, multiple forums, an extensive wiki, multiple amateur documentaries, screaming fans at conventions, etc.

Back in the day, the main group of trolls was the only thing keeping him online. When they disbanded, Chris went offline for three years. Complete silence. He's back online now because he gets paid to be. If Chris didn't make money off of patreon et al, Chris would have no reason to go online and we'd just get occasional bigfoot sightings of him around Charlottesville.

One note really bothered me in Null's talk with Chris about TMG groping allegations. Chris rattling on about Commodore and telling Null exactly how to build / market the CWCville console of tomorrow. Is this how ideafag or whoever exploited him financially?

Honestly, I hope it's just fragments of bullshit sperging out from before Null's email intervention. If someone's feeding him delusions and reaping large sums of Chris' tugboat simply from a giant C logo and Bob's nostalgia, that person deserves to get fucked.

Atari already proved how autistic the public is in general with the Atari VCS indiegogo. Some shitlord with the guise of Commodore could swindle an actual autistic tomgirl out of her house.

Chris is a REAL Gamer, REAL Woman, REAL Omnisetsual, REAL exceptional individual

I hope he doesn't think getting banned is a glitch.

This. I've spent many hours editing the CWCki and its biggest weakness, if you want to call it that, is that trolling schemes and the trolls themselves are shrouded in secrecy. You only get a vague impression at certain points that a group of guys, or sometimes several groups of guys competing for Chris's attention, were spending a lot of their free time thinking up ways to puppeteer Chris. Chris has done a lot of crazy shit on his own, but other crazy shit is due to trolling. It's almost impossible to tell the difference unless you're in the Inner Circle (not that I would know if anything resembling this entity currently exists). The two parallel narratives of Christory are 1) Chris is a very weird and unique individual; and 2) Chris has been subjected to manipulation more intense than anyone since Patty Hearst. It's hard to know why he does anything.

If you could get $500,000 to dress as Chris for two weeks, would you do it? And I mean full current-day Chris attire, no Carlos Chantor. Fire-damaged rugby shirt, handmade skirt, Sonichu medallion, the works.

Sure, why not? I'd even let myself be held down while my autistic screams were recorded.

I wear stupider stuff for less money. As long as it doesn't involve barb and I'm allowed to be as wasted as usual that sounds like a great deal.

If Night Star were to ever get an adaptation, I just picture everything being like this one cartoon movie from my childhood "Sebastian the Star Bear"

Night Star fits so well with this.

Nightstar! Oooh oooh oooh oooh

On what level does Chris believe he is married? He seems to have changed his last name to Sonichu. Is this going to stick? The last two times he's changed his name he's gone through the legal process to make it official. What about this time? He must know that other people who get married have marriage licenses. Would he try (unsuccessfully, of course) to obtain one? Would this failure poke a hole in his contention that "this shit is real"?

He hasn't said much about Crystal lately. Does he think his spouses can or will magically impregnate him? Or is he still thinking about a human surrogate, i.e. a "real" person? Wouldn't his need for a "real" mother cause him to face the fact that his fantasy marriage is a sham? I mean, if he's married, why not just have one of his spouses bear Crystal?

I predict that within two years Chris will claim that one of his spouses has actually given the birth to Crystal, and he will draw pictures of her and claim that he's nursing her and playing with her in some ethereal realm.
