It’s certainly the side of the Weston’s that had any connection to the Tudor Henrys and Sir Francis Weston was a member of Henry’s PVCC Inner Circle and often was in Bolyen’s company. He was one of Henry’s BFF’s until Henry threw him under the bus. There is a different branch of the Weston family (not directly related to Francis) in Canada who do well in oil shares, I think. But if Chris keeps claiming his relationship to Boleyn it’s Sir Francis Weston, who was “related” to her by innuendo of having “relations” with her. Which he confessed to and later recanted ... the Weston’s all seem to go to court the same way too. This was one of “Katherine’s” ploys in showing Chris “The Tudors” — all he seemed to get out of it was to start using Imperial spelling. Yeah, but who knows, they could have gotten the entire branch of the family wrong. Just saw “Weston” one day linked to Boleyn and said, “Ohhhh, that’s OUR family!” when they’re actually the Westons from Newcastle and no relation.

As I said above the name litterly translates as "Town / Settlement to the West" it was a really common name in England but in particular to South East. Their are significant groups with that name spread around but they are not always related even distantly, What I will add though is the "Ton" part is more common in the north and centre of the UK because of the Danelaw depending on where you are in the South East of if you are in a border areas it could move around a bit and become fluid.

Chris is really lucky to have a history, but yeah, I see he was never related to anyone of any merit. I always think that trope is amusing though. Bob's native trope is also good too.
There's no history. White people in America changed their names all the time to appear to be of better stock. Chris is probably not an authentic Weston just like he's not an authentic woman.

In the CWCki it suggests Chris (after consulting Wikipedia) decided he must be connected via Anne's sister, Mary Boleyn and "Her brother Richard Weston, 1st Earl of Portland". The only trouble being Richard was born in 1577, 77 years after Mary and was not at all related to her (as far as I could work out). I don't know whose fault this was as the CWCki is ambiguous on how the mistake came about.

TLDR; it's all bullshit.

"[Insanely high-pitched whiny voice] AND ALSO! listen to my ancesterds- ancestry. I have an anc- my- my ancestoron-uh-on likewise, is Anne Boleyn, so I'm descended all the way back to Mary Boleyn. Think about that, Wikipedia! Think about that!. Even as- ev- including the, uh, first Earl of Portland."
