Not sure where to post this and it’s not worth it’s own thread -

For some reason a group of people have made a Kickstarter to make a rebooted Sonichu comic (Or to be more precise hire an artist to draw it while they do the rest) because they don’t like Chris’s self insert or how it now features My Little Pony.

I’m not posting the link because I think anyone should back it I just find it bizarre there are people out there who genuinely enjoy Sonichu and are not interested in Chris:

Either way, Chris should really get off his fat ass and enforce his copyright here.

This is the stated info of the owner of the Kickstarter, not sure if it's real, but I am pretty sure that the platform would require some IRL proof on anything that requires money:

we are a small team of aspiring comic creators. we've been following the exploits of the character Sonichu for some time. But we've seen the creator take the the comic in a lot of incoherent directions. the comic has become more about his life rather than the exploits of the character. and lately it has seemingly turned into an mlp comic for some reason. So that's why me and my team have decided its time for a reboot.

Our comic Sonichu 2.0 follows the exploits of a genetically engineered super-soldier as he and his allies fight against an extra-dimensional entity bent on total destruction known as the void.

what we are primarily raising funds for is to afford the artist who wants $75 per page to illustrate the story itself. Right now we're working on funding the first issue. if things go well in could go further.

wow, AFAIK, $75 per page is a fucking HUGE demand, I am very sure that not even legendary artists like Alex Ross or John Romita Jr. would demand such money.

Also, these creature concepts feel very Kengle-esque:

@Marvin, @Null, I don't think that Chris should have much trouble shooting this shit down, he should just send a copyright notice to KS themselves.

The whole idea of Sonichu and the execution of it was really bad before the MLP insert shit. Who would want to reboot it? The whole point of it was that it was insight into Chris's mindset.

And yeah, the comic is somehow far more autistic and retarded than before now that the MLP shit is in it
