I just happened to stumble upon this milestone of character design:

Did anyone ever find out what the idea behind the design is? I mean, it's just such a bizarre creation -even by Chris' standards- that I can just look at it in awe.
Did he want to make himself look more rugged and macho or anything by adding a beard and that deep neckline? It seems it's the Cwcville-brand knockoff version of a Super Saiyan...
I especially like the extra touch of having a name that contains 'colossal' when the character itself is of regular size.

I think the beard is not a beard at all, but actually his muzzle, showing that he is, in fact, Chrischan Sonichu. The colossal part might have to do with something Dragonbally, as you said. Maybe it's a version of Chris in the Rollin and Trollin video, how he looks.

As typically pointed out, that hobo beard is a muzzle but ends up looking this way due to Chris's limited colors - if he used the usual color he uses for the hedgehogs, it'd be the same shade as his skin. Chris's characters often end up with designs more unfortunate than they would've been due to this.
Funny how he also brings this well to real life. Remeber his attempt at Hamburglar, which could have been accomplished just by a black and white striped shirt? Instead we end up with a fat Voldo.

I love it when Chris tries to talk like a troll. He comes across like an elderly relative trying to be "down with the kids," except worse.

My personal highlight is his use of 'da' instead of 'the'. Noone talks, much less types, like that. Still, for some reason, Chris thinks that's totally a thing.
his minor slips like "give me back" are just icing on the cake.

That's bugged me too, the only time I see any one using any thing close to it is on some of the 40k forums or in fan fic's when they are writing like a Ork:

"WEZ GONA KRUMP DA UMIEES!!!!"

Considering that Ork's are supposed to sound like mentally challenged drunken football hooligans, I can't quite understand where he got it from.

If CWC wants to earn money, he should take all the Sonichu pages he has created and compile them into a book and sell it through a vanity press. I'm pretty sure a number of people would buy "Sonichu - The Complete Definite Edition".

Alternatively, he could make Sonic Totems. They would sell like crazy right before Halloween.

1) Is it abnormal to achieve a kind of intoxicated "high" from watching CWC's videos in awe of all his manbabyishness?

2) Have we ever actually seen Christian laugh on video? Non-sarcastically and non-maniacally. It seems to me that those on the autistic spectrum struggle with genuine laughter.

I've heard Chris laugh a few times. It's this weird heh... heh heh... heh forced chuckle thing. It's usually when he's made a dumb joke that he thinks is super clever, and he's trying to push his audience or whoever else he's talking to to laugh at his brilliant joke.

I guess I can't say I remember a situation where he was taken completely by surprise by something and it set him laughing.

It's a Pikachu cheek. I remember hearing somewhere along the line that in the Pokemon universe, Pikachu/Raichu/Pichus/whatever have big red cheeks because they can channel electricity from them.

And I literally have no idea why I know that.

Hobo-Chan is hands down my favorite Chris creation, though.

Wouldn't it be fun if "the" was changed to "da" on the... da forums?
