Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Not to encourage it, per se, but rather just to allow him to keep being Chris, for better or for worse.
If Chris is looking to get in a real Crucial Danger Situation, I'd have to guess that he'll let us know by whining on Facebook but as long as Barb's alive and they have 14 BLC, they'll be able to afford food hoard to last them until Chris' :tugboat: gets going again.

Chris is always going to be Chris, if anything, the last week has proven that fact. I'm just wondering why Chris money troubles should be our issue to solve. Or rather: nothing we would ever do would solve his problem. If a generous soul would donate 500 bucks each month unconditionally for the rest of Chris' life guess what would happen?
He'd spend 700 bucks a month more on frivolities than before and demand 1k for his mothers cavities or whatever.
Simply throwing money at Chris will not solve any of his problems. Not even his money problems.
It's not about solving problems, though, so much as keeping the trainwreck going. We all know he's never going to change, so it's more along the lines of keeping him sheltered, fed, and entertained so he can continue to do the incredibly stupid things that make him uniquely entertaining. Of course, this is in case he actually does get convicted and lose his tugboat

If he can't manage his own money that is not our fucking problem considering it's something trolls have been trying to warn him about for literally years. Why should the fact that he's funny mean we automatically need to make sure he's got amenities?

So let me put it like this:

Chris has a personal army of asspatters and enablers.
We should not sink to that low, too.

Edit: Also he's not going to 'lose' his tugboat. He can reapply and will get it back without any issues.

As has been mentioned earlier, if Chris is indeed charged with a felony, then he will likely lose his tugboat, and (somehow) become even less employable. While this is bad enough given that Chris is who he is, this means that an already fragile financial situation is about to become even more strained, and may even collapse if things get bad enough. With that being said, just as a question, do any of you think that those of us who've grown to follow Chris (sometimes religiously) over the years would be willing to support him through donations, just to keep The Chris-chan variety hour going. Thoughts?
Not per se. A lot of us chipped in after the house fire strained his financial situation. But that was not really his fault. A lot fewer people would be willing to give him money because he comitted an assault.

But if he got out and resurrected his eBay store with new products he could probably move a little merch.

There might be a few people who would buy because they felt bad about him losing his tugboat. And a few who don't buy because they think he has stopped deserving money. But the vast majority of us will make the same buying decision we did before: If the shit he is selling is amusing enough to warrant the price he is charging, we will buy it.

Has anyone noticed how much... worse Chris sounds in the videos he posted this year? He seems to have a much harder time getting his words out than he used to and sounds a lot more emotionally unstable. Could this be due to his isolation?

Yep one of the first things to go in Isolation is speech it get's more broken the longer you let it atrophy, I am doubting him an Barb converse much beyond Yes an No (Shut in pairs like them have been known to develop a almost private language, that's a clipped form of the norm, my source for this is a book I read on prison isolation in dictatorships), his interactions with people other than Barb are by Text or Short where it would mostly go unnoticed, "Big Mac an Fries" does not require orritory skill, just a basic statement of want, followed by financial transaction.

Does anyone remember when the Colin e-mails were likely going to be the most interesting thing to drop over the holidays?

Looking for help in finding a piece of fan art...a few days ago I came across a brilliant spoof of the "Time Void" storyline in which all the Sonichu characters say "Good riddance" after CWC disappears into the void. They had a link to it in one of these forums, but I can't for the life of me remember where it is. Can any of you good folks point me in the right direction?

It's not asking about supporting him because he's such a good gosh darn guy\it's the right thing to do, but rather so he could continue being a sustainable lolcow. Really, where is anything even suggested about mandatory payments, or a perceived 'duty' to him? It's a subscription question, nothing more

Does anyone know when the info dump is going to happen? I remember this month was mentioned but no specific date was given.

It's been dumped over the past month. Best place is in updates or searching the "user submitted" tabs

I wonder if Chris remembers the names of all his Sonichu characters?

Also, 2015 Chris predictions? Another year of radio silence, I think.
He's tasted that sweet ebay money, I think jail or not he'll still maintain an online presence to hawk his merch (once he's out that is).

Speaking of his ebay money, just how much did he make? And is it considered reportable income? Come to think of it, has Chris ever paid taxes?
