Not a doctor, but on the west coast, they've been operating on an informed consent model (ie you just sign away the doctor's liability and they just give you the pills) for a long time. I thought it'd take awhile for that shit to reach the east coast but apparently that was really optimistic of me. Contra bullshitted a doctor in Baltimore into giving them hormones at a place that also does "pediatric trans care", including puberty blockers.
No, I don't believe he's doing it in private either. But even beyond explicit sex stuff, there's a big difference in how he no longer pursues women romantically. Even his "marriage" (lol) is extremely platonic.
