I wasn't aware that Chris' "prophecy" had a time limit - where did you read that? I thought that Chris thought that having Crystal was just something indefinitely in the future. Although if true, no wonder Chris was talking about marriage with Catie on the first "date".

Although 2015 was the year that the Grim Reaper, in a dream, told Chris that Bob would pass away, IIRC.

Afaik, he dreamt it was the year 2015 and he had a daughter named Crystal.

I guess the rather vague "2015" was supposed to mean it was "some unspecified time in the distant future", but now it's crawling up on Chris.

Might be he just shrugs and goes "well... maybe next year", might be he goes "I was trolled by godbear. Again!".

See, I think he is conscious of feeling attracted to men but he believes that gay is a choice everyone has and therefore he has to make sure he makes the 'right' one. He's fighting some sort of internal battle just based on his massive reactions to it. I agree that by now he's forced those urges and feelings so deep inside himself that his sexuality is a tangled mess of misunderstood urges and neurosis but honestly, I think if he's been raised normally he'd be gay.

I think the reason everyone thinks he's gay is the outrageous homophobia. As far as real evidence most of it could be simply explained as tard confusion.
  1. He sticks stuff up his butt. Why would any straight man do that? Maybe just because he had the sex toy in front of him he felt compelled to do it. Said he didn't enjoy it, but that might be due to the fact he doesn't know you're suppose to use lube. Also even if you want butt play, are you gonna do it as much if it means poop everywhere each time, as would be the case with Chris?
  2. He told Julie that he hears voices in his head that say "Chris is gay" and sometimes he sees dicks when he closes his eyes. That's pretty gay, but I don't know Chris is also stupid. I don't know how much "You're gay!" trolling chris got (presumably a lot). but he seemed really reactive and paranoid about accusations he was gay. Probably, because he sees homosexuality as another thing people judge you for that prevents you from being seen as normal, much like his autism.
  3. The tranny stuff... I guess he's a male lesbian or whatever, but I'm sure this comes from a place of deep confusion for Chris and theres more to it than being a lesbian trapped in a males body. Still its the explanation that seems to make the most sense.

Sticking things up your butt isn't inherently gay. If men aren't what arouses you while you're sticking things up your ass, it's can't be gay. (As funny an idea that is.)

Of course, there's the question about how often straight men are wanting to be pegged because of a genuine BDSM domination fetish compared to them just being somewhat gay or bisexual, secretly. Is it a common thing? I don't know.

As far as Chris goes, the situation is pretty weird. Chris is really into being pegged by a woman. And he's pretty open about this with people.

Oh, I don't think there's much confusion on Chris' part: Chris hates men. Men are the devil to Chris. He finally realized there's a way for him to not be a man.

Yeah, I'm sure it's complex. Part of it's probably because they're a convenient bogeyman to Chris. It's also funny to me that Chris thinks he hates men a lot more than he actually does. Like his pleasant date with Al (and Catie), for example.

He used to use a sailor moon poster to 'keep himself on the straight path' nobody who knows themselves to be straight does that. Also, he did once clearly state that if he ever turned gay he'd have a sex change rather than be a gay man, well he's after a sex change.......

You are of course entirely right, but for me Chris falls firmly into the category of 'methinks he doth pretest to much' Look I don't think Chris sits at home fapping over pictures of dudes or anything, I'm just of the opinion that he is a severely repressed homosexual. Autism aside, you don't meet many hugely camp straight guys with exclusively female friends (or at least people he thinks are friends) who dress up regularly as women and who profess to desire gender reassignment. This is not a normal state of healthy sexuality. I simply believe that his homosexuality has been oppressed so badly by his faith, his parents and his personal prejudice that it's now starting to be expressed in other, more outlandish ways.

I don't see how this translates into anything concrete.

Edit: Or to be more specific: it doesn't actually translate into anything concrete. Jokes aside, I don't take "he doth protest too much" as actual evidence of homosexuality to me.

Like for example, consider super religious anti-gay conservatives who get caught blowing people in bathrooms. As funny as that is, they don't indicate important trends. At most, maybe crazy anti-gay people are maybe a few percent more likely to be gay. There are lots of other reasons why people are anti-gay aside from just being secretly gay themselves.

(And this is more important to keep in mind because Chris is a dumbass and doesn't have 100% normal people motivations.)

I think what makes some people suspicious is not that Chris is or was homophobic. There are lots of homophobic people and most of them are straight. It is that he was oddly homophobic. He didn't have strong or coherent opinions about many things. He consumed and absorbed so much pop-culture promoting tolerance. He attended a liberal church and religion didn't dominate his life. I guess his parents were homophobic, but I didn't get the impression they went on and on about homosexuality every day.

So it stands out as odd. If I was shown all of Chris' videos that didn't touch on homosexuality, and asked to predict what he would say if asked about homosexuality, I would have guessed "Hmm yeah, I saw something about that on Family Guy but I don't know much about it. I am neutral on the subject."

His opinions on homosexuality are unexpectedly strong. I think that's why people apply the "He doth protest too much" argument to Chris, but wouldn't apply it to some guy in a Baptist church in Alabama.

Overall, I tend to agree with you. He doesn't seem to have a very strong sex drive. And whatever sex drive he has is directed at women.

Here is my completely speculative analysis of the situation:

We all know that sexuality is a scale. Chris could be 90% straight. And a lot of the weird sexuality stuff is the awkwardly repressed 10% gay part coming out. As a straight guy, sometimes I see a handsome man, recognize that he is handsome, but don't want to sleep with him. That may be the 10% of me that is gay working itself out. If I acted like Chris, and made myself think "Oh no, it's a man. Evil. Gross", that 10% is going to be repressed. So maybe Chris is pretty much a straight guy, but has a little repressed homosexuality as well.

I agree there is something not right about the tranny thing, and the homophobia seems really repressed. I honestly don't feel like Chris thinks he has a lesbian soul. I think he's actually just coming to terms with how big of a pussy he is. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I think that's why he wants to be a woman, cuz he's a huge fucking pussy and knows he'll never be a real man. Sorry if that isn't very scientific.
