I was considering making a thread for this but I think it would get locked for a myriad of reasons so I will just ask it here.

Has it been established that Chris/Christine does have legitimate gender issues? I think I read somewhere that @Marvin stated this was the case but there seems to be a decisive split on whether Chris/Christine truly is transgendered or if this is just a silly plot/trendy thing Chris is doing to increase his odds of getting a heartsweet. I really have no idea wtf Chris/Christine is thinking so maybe someone can clarify what the deal is other than the blanket statement of autism.

This has probably been discussed ad nauseum but I honestly do not remember a definitive answer to this.

We're not doctors and we can't diagnose Chris with gender dysphoria over the internet. However, it's apparent Chris has real gender issues. He's obviously fucked up in lots of ways and gender is no exception. Perhaps Chris could talk to a shrink for a bit and come to terms with being a man. Maybe that'd solve everything. Or maybe Chris is genuinely transgender and he should be living as a woman. We can't really tell from here.

Edit: And to point out, most people agree with this position. However they think the latter possibility (that Chris really is trans) is a long shot and don't really consider it. I think that's pretty shortsighted and those people should look a bit more carefully at the situation.

He's never been officially diagnosed to our knowledge. We will see soon though.

Gender issues are common in people with autism. In fact, ignoring everything else; his autism would prevent him getting a sex change from a real doctor.

I think it's a subject that hasn't been properly fully researched, but the incidence of gender issues among autistic's is remarkably higher.

I'm sure Chris thinks he still has unlimited Power and is a Strong Man, even though he's a tranny or w/e. Given that apparently he's taking hormones and going full swing into being a lesbo, I don't think he'll change it anytime soon. Probably will stick with it for years, maybe even the rest of his life. Remember that JERKS are the ones that steal wimmen from Chris, so he probably got fed up with being associated with Brutish Males that Don't Leave Any Girls for Himself.

Eh, not really. Chris wasn't comfortable/OK with his masculinity before. His whole life, Chris usually dodged masculine roles by being childish as an alternative. The videos you're talking about were made by trolls. We pushed Chris to be cartoonishly aggressive in his videos specifically because it was so unnatural and awkward for him. That's why it was funny.

Chris would be more likely to move out of Barb's house while she's still alive than to give up on being a tomgirl. Like, find his own apartment, get a job and be a successful, happy, normal person. Maybe get married to a cute, younger professional.

That's how hard being a man sounds to Chris. Being a woman is a lot more egalitarian of a situation to Chris. Everyone's on the same level. No big expectations as a woman. And this isn't tied to anything recent, like Impulse or trolls or anything. This is Chris absorbing lots of television his whole life, seeing all the hard things men have to do, like working, and saying "meh, that's not for me".

Last year when I was bored I tried to count how many videos Chris uses the phrase "I am straight!" I can't remember the number but it was something like 20. This is not normal behavior. From the very earliest troll documents, we see Chris feeling ambivalent about being a man. While the origins are unclear, it is a fact that he has been worried about his gender since his mid-20s.

Don't be fooled by things like the Giant Penis Comic and the "Strength" videos. Most of this stuff was fully orchestrated by trolls. It was very easy for troll sweethearts to manipulate his insecurities about orientation and get him to say and do lulzy things. I believe that it would be possible for a troll to persuade Chris with the promise of china to declare himself to be a straight man. I would love to see this attempt. However, I think this would be a lie, and he would be forced to the realization that his self-marketing as intersex just isn't going to work. This is not to say that I believe Chris is truly transgendered, because autism. However, I think he is as committed to being a soul sister as he is to his blarms crusade. This is permanent.

On the one hand Chris has always been confused about everything, and had fucked up views on sexuality, himself, gender roles, among other things. By this logic, when he comes up with something like "I am a woman", it is fairly natural to conclude that this is just another one of his fucked up ideas.

On the other hand, the fact that he has been confused and weird about these things for so long might suggest there is some real underlying issue. Which has only recently surfaced as a desire to be a woman. By this logic, some of his previous weirdness supports the argument that he is legitimately transgendered.

Finally, there have always been those who said "Come on, he must be gay." since long before tomgirlism started. By that logic, this could either be more evidence that he has gender/sexuality issues and he is repressing his homosexuality. Or it could be that the thing you sensed he was repressing was actually gender issues and not sexuality issues.

That's a good theory. He was probably sensitive to the gay thing cuz he knew he was transgendered (knew as in had an idea, still totally didn't understand). He knew it whatever it was would be confused for being gay. Probably got called a fag all the time in school for always choosing girl activities, and just in general being a huge pussball. He's also great at conflating issue and feeling that if you go with side you have to vehemently oppose the other. Sort of like how he hates aspergers, cuz he has autism and they are mortal enemies in his mind for no reason.

So I just found something amusing I thought I'd share with all you.

I went to the the Fairfax Cyrobank site, the sperm bank Christian applied to. I found that you can find a donor using something called "Face Match" where you can upload photos and find a similar looking sperm donor match. Just go to the bottom and expand the Face Match tab and then upload your fav photo of Chris. I used his current facebook photo. While you have to actually pay money for photos there are some pretty funny results.

The closest matches had the following occupations

According to the CWCki, Chris suffers from something called encopresis. Thankfully I know very little about these issues, but I was under the impression that IBS is an entirely different disorder. Wikipedia makes it sound a lot more serious than just shitting yourself.

At any rate, it's another great example of Honest Content, and it dovetails with all the recent talk about self-fertilization and such. Even after all the trolling, Chris has trouble understanding why he should keep medical issues private. Maybe it's another case where he wants to let the world know that he has no reason to feel shame about his behaviors, because it's Not His Fault(tm), like being a homo.
