do you guys think this Dontdatehimgirl comment is supposedly by megan is the real deal or fake?

"I too have encoutered Christian. At first he seemed nice, if a little odd. After a while though, he started touching me everytime we met, starting with simply rubbing my back, but later touching me somewhat inapropriately as well. Everytime I would ask him to stop touching me, but after a while he would start again, claiming he was 'just beeing friendly'. He also became very posessive of me, even going off at a girlfriend of mine because she patted me on the head, telling her to not touch me. A bit later I found out that Christian was posting photographs of me on the internet. I asked them to remove them, and even though he promised he would, those photo's stayed put. He also kept talking about sexual things to me, even though I kept asking him to stop. Things got really creepy when Chris actually drew pornographic scenes with me and him in it,and UPLOADED THEM TO THE INTERNET, alongside photo's of me. Later he even started drawing and fantasizing about us having a daughter named Crystal, which he then fantasized about in a semi-sexual manner (She would have sexy hair, etc). Chris kept beeing under the illusion that we had a proper relationship, whilst we didn't. Eventually he got agressive, pinning me against the wall, making veiled threats about how he was forced to draw him and me in pornographic scenes because else he might 'do something stupid'. Chris then also began to show agression to male friends of mine. Some of them are still scared of him, since Chris is somewhat big. He even punched my brother, who only tried to get him to back off and stop touching me. Again, all of this happened when me and Christian were not in any form of relationship, but he still seemed to think I was his girlfriend. So in short, please watch out for Christian, since he's a perverted, manipulative , agressive, dangerous individual with severe mental issues!"

Probably a ween, definitely if it's at all recent. All of the information could have been transcluded from the CWCki, and I'm pretty sure Megan doesn't want anything to do with Chris's internet infamy. Plus, I don't remember Megan having a particular tendency for greengrocer's apostrophes.

The problem is the long term consequences of Chris' lifestyle. He eats awfully and does virtually no exercise. He'll probably be fine up until he's forty, but after that his chances of heart disease and diabetes starts to creep up. [...]

Considering Bob had a lot of heart trouble and his youth was arguably healthier than Chris', I don't think it bodes too well long term. He's probably about 5'10 and between 220 and 250 pounds. That makes him anywhere between very overweight and rather obese. He doesn't really have much lean muscle mass, so BMI probably doesn't do him justice.

Remember that life expectancy is based on the average American, who is more likely obese or overweight than normal.
I believe Chris isn't going to die soon. Family history is rather in Chris' favour
Bob has been eating at Burger King every day of his life and lived to be 84
Barb has been obese or overweight all her life and nowadays at 73 her biggest health concern seem to be her rotting teeth (?). Not bad, I'd say. She seems to be losing muscle mass, but it's just natural involution.

I actually looked it up. Christian's autism is unlikely cause any significant dent in his life expectancy. Some people who are more severely retarded have seizures or respiratory problems, but these don't seem to affect Christian. The only reason autistic people like him have a lower life expectancy than the normal population is that they are more likely to die in accidents (like drowning or.... fires ). Even so, never leaving the house makes his chances of dying in an accident very low.

EDIT: just saw something about how people with autism are more likely to have GI tract issues... again doesn't sound like a Chris Chan thing...:briefs:

What is the best thing Chris has ever done?

There are a few times when Chris has seemingly acted selflessly. He did the Lego lemonade stand thing to raise money for cancer, although it took about two hours of his time. He also donated a contest prize to his church once. No one forced him to do these things. You can argue that he had ulterior motives, but from a sociological perspective, this might be true of most acts of supposed altruism.

His "volunteer work" playing Pokemon was bullshit. He has made a show on several occasions of trying to help the younger generation, like with his 25th birthday message. His call for dating education in high school, come to think of it, wouldn't really help him at all, since he's already graduated. He also showed up at a city council meeting to defend a park. He participates in the 21st century form of activism by pressing buttons to "like" certain political causes pertaining to gay rights and such.

Searched for “autism comorbidity review” on pubmed, here are some interesting abstracts (and a summary of two articles will follow )

Sleep in children with autism spectrum disorder

Children with autism spectrum disorder demonstrate an increased prevalence of difficulties with sleep initiation and maintenance. The consequences may include alterations in daytime behavior, memory, and learning in patients, and significant stress in caretakers. […]

Adults with autism spectrum disorders. Howlin, Moss

[…] The findings indicate that, as adults, many people with ASD, including those of normal IQ, are significantly disadvantaged regarding employment, social relationships, physical and mental health, and quality of life. […] Moreover, most of the research on outcome has involved relatively young people in their 20s and 30s-much less is known about outcomes for people with ASD as they reach mid-late adulthood. […]

Comorbidity of physical and motor problems in children with autism Matson, Matson, Beighley (couldn’t get the full text)
[…] This paper provides a review of factors and behaviors that correlate highly with disorders on the autism spectrum. Among these conditions are premature birth, birth defects, gross and fine motor skills, and obesity. [...]

► Many physical conditions co-exist with autism including motor deficits, birth defects, and obesity. ► Rates of motor deficits and weight problems are consistently high across childhood and adolescence

Non-psychiatric health problems among psychiatric inpatients with intellectual disabilities.
Charlot, Abend, Ravin, Mastis, Hunt, Deutsch

[…] We conducted an exploratory investigation based on a retrospective chart review of the medical problems and medications for 198 people with ID who had been admitted to a specialised inpatient psychiatric unit. […]

RESULTS:
[…] There was a significant correlation between number of psychoactive medications and number of medical problems [...] The most frequent medical comorbidity was constipation, reported in 60% of the inpatients[...], while gastro-esophageal reflux disease was identified in 38%[...]Older inpatients had an increased number of medical problems, as might be expected, but a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder, gender and level of ID had no detectible effect on rates of either medical diagnoses or medications. Infantile autism: adult outcome. Korkmaz
Although the core features of autism do not change qualitatively, a gradual overall symptomatic improvement including an increase in adaptive skills is observed in most cases with age. Follow-up studies show that the diagnostic features, the differential diagnosis, and clinical problems of adult autistics differ substantially from that of autistic children. [...]Depression, epilepsy, and behavioral problems such as aggression and agitation may be major clinical problems during adolescence. The early indicators of a better outcome include a higher level of IQ and language. [...] Early behavioral and educational intervention may especially increase the adaptive skills of the patients and promote the in-family communication. The outcome studies of autism are particularly helpful in addressing the appropriate and most effective programs of remediation for adult autistics.

Are we talking about Chris dreams now? I had one last time where I went up in an elevator in some really tall apartment building, entered some big unlit apartment with just one room that had Lego strewn all over it. Classic Chris was sitting there on the floor surrounded by the Lego, and it turned out Liquid is also there, who is massive and imposing and looks a bit like Demon King Piccolo from the first Dragon Ball series (I've been having a marathon lately so that contributed), towering over Chris. Chri... I mean Ian was yelling so hard his lungs and throat were going to give out (louder than in any video he's ever made) about how he's not Ian Brandon Anderson and that the TRUE and HONEST Christian Weston Chandler should give him his identity back.

I agree with that. Anything nice or good Chris says or does gets picked apart and we find reasons why he is doing it out of self interest. A lot of good deeds the rest of the world does wouldn't stand up to that sort of scrutiny either. So I will give him credit for anything I would give credit to another guy for, regardless of his motives.

It's more he's incapable of it than there's a belief holding him back.

In a society where suicide is strongly discouraged, I don't think it properly enters the decision tree of a lot of people. I don't get the sense Chris has ever really considered suicide. When bad stuff happens, he considers various reactions, but killing himself doesn't seem to be one of them. I hope that continues to be the case.

Despite how incredibly lazy and self-centered he is, I think Chris would do a good deed if it were within his scope. He's unlikely to go climb a mountain to raise money for charity or give blood (for reasons other than curing homosexuality of course), but he'd probably give the time of day or directions if you asked for them.

It also depends on who is asking for directions. If it's a male, he would get annoyed and basically just point in the general direction. But if a female, he'd sperg out on how to get there and the various christorical locations she would pass along the way. He'd then suggest meeting up for smoothies in the downtown mall and try to eat her out in the bathroom.

not really a thought or a question but i see that youtube has a sense of humor

(sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this is!!)

I think Chris' imaginary sister Crystal was one of the first signs of his tom girl side. A female version of him in his head? That's what he's turned himself into, a sweetheart from the ground-up.
