Off-Topic Random Trans Thoughts, Musings, and Questions - For all your armchair psych and general sperging

I've been doing a fair bit of troon fashion sperging today, and I had a thunk:

Its pretty well documented here that TIM's often dress "quirky" frequently emulating styles from girls in their high school days or early college days. Most of those styles (goth/ emo/ scene/club slut, etc) only look good on people with the right body type/ face anyway. Not all women can pull those looks off, and no tranny can. So why do it? The obvious (and largely correct) answer is that this shit is skinwalking/a fetish. But I think there's more too it than that.

Its perfectly possible to dress "quirky" at any age, while still keeping the look age appropriate. IMO, the best way to do this is with a boho/bohemian style.

Super cute, right? Also, you can easily find this style on amazon, and the long flowing skirts are perfect for "skirt go spinny uwu!"

So....why don't we see more TIM's rocking the boho look?

Because it also looks good on older women.

Trannies don't want to dress their age, because they don't want to be reminded that they can never be like their high school crush. Its not erection inducing validating to look like a mature older woman.

Boho also looks good on just about any lady IMO, so dressing this way won't make TIM's feel special.

I always hate the comparison troons make with HRT and the US military or gun ages.
“B-b-but kids can be soldiers so why not HRT???” Because the military takes these few 18 year olds who decide to join voluntarily (no mandatory service since Vietnam) and puts them through a rigorous training program that costs the government 200,000 dollars each to turn them into people that have confidence, few fears, and a great sense of loyalty to their fellow soldiers. Now compare that to a kid (probably under 18 unlike “muh military ages”) shooting up a chemical an ugly troon brewed in their bathtub like a literal witch brewing poison potions, and then you realize just how fucking retarded and braindead these people are because the two are literally incomparable, a guy can choose to not reenlist, whereas the poor children who have taken HRT will forever have their bodies ruined, detranstioned or not.

There's a Roz Chast cartoon about women hitting the boho age, but I can't find a version of it with pixels:

1) Do bright-colored tunics and big, bold jewelry suddenly appeal? Are you starting to carry an eccentric tote bag? What's with the hair?
2) Have you gotten heavily into herbal tea, especially the "soothing" varieties? How about aromatherapy? Magic crystals? Yoga?
3) Have your house and garden become extremely important to you lately? Like millions of times more than before?
4) Has it just struck you that you absolutely need to make SOME SERIOUS CHANGES IN YOUR LIFESTYLE?

Banned books in schools are a hot topic in the US, and pretty much every list includes that one gross pooner's autobio comic Gender Queer. While I hate the idea of it being in libraries, I've got to say I first read it for free with a web search years ago. I don't know that this banning action will protect children at all when the internet exists,

Reading the Jazz Jennings thread reminds me of castrato. *sigh*Are there other examples of kids being castrated to benefit others?
There’s a very long history of political eunuchs. The practice dates back to prehistoric China. Basically the idea is that eunuchs are safe servants because they’re not going to cuckold the ruler, and they can’t have sons so their ambition to scheme for the throne will be limited. They were common in most sophisticated governments east of Greece (and in Egypt). Achaemenid Persia probably invented using eunuchs to staff the government ministries, and in late antiquity the Roman Empire also adopted this policy, as a way to prevent offices from becoming hereditary the way the emperorship had. It was pretty effective at that, eunuchs even led armies for a brief period (not that Narses was ever very popular with the men, but that was half the point). There were also priesthoods that specifically required eunuchs to minister.
So yes, castrating your second son and sending him off to the emperor has a pretty long history. Not only did it mean your first son could inherit everything, he’d have a sympathetic ear inside the imperial court.

I don't know if this is really a hot take or anything - more a quiet realisation.

You don't really hear from the weirdo men's rights, anti-feminist, manospherian types any more, since the rise of the troon.

I wonder if there's a connection. 🤔

Can confirm, graduated in 2018. Public school is child abuse, i came from an upper middle class and my sister is a feminist twat that aspires to be a cat lady. I chose a blue collar career path so i ended up based due to being exposed to the real world and having my liberal worldview destroyed at a very young age. These days its either homeschooling or a well vetted catholic school as far as education goes. But the fag stuff is everywhere, even in kids cartoons so youll need to explain it to them and win them over before society does
I was in the “smart kid classes” in public school and I look back on all the shit that was drilled through my head in public school (raycism bad, don’t say slurs, believe all women no matter what, “love is love”, “just be kind”, etc) and I think I would have been an unironic Berniebro queermo who’s afraid of guns and heckin hates racism.

Man am I glad I got into the trades instead of finishing college lmao

You also don't see crossdresser clubs anymore since the rise of the troon. 20 years ago, it was common for middle-aged men with a sexual fetish for transvestism to join crossdresser clubs where they would meet with other transvestites and would go to cruises, festivals, parties, and so forth; now these crossdressing clubs no longer exist in any serious capacity.

Strange question: is it better that men like this have clubs and then go back home to their "normal" life, or is it better that they fully drop their old lives and stay troons so the people around them don't have to deal with them?

Going full troon would be better, honestly, if it wasnt for the fact that every HR department and journoscum bends over backwards to elevate them to the top of the world.

Sexual Violence Reports in Target Spike After Transgender Bathroom Policy: Study
A new study documents the increase in sexual violence incidents at Target stores since the company officially announced two years ago that men who identify as female can enter women's bathrooms and changing rooms.
The study, "Gender-Inclusion Policies and Sexual Violence: A Longitudinal Analysis of Media Reports at Target Stores," was authored by Paul Dirks of the Canadian Woman Means Something campaign and was released Friday. The analysis surveys the relevant literature on sexual violence, and categorizes and charts 220 media-reported sexual offenses in Target locations from 2003 to August of 2017, aiming to determine if any association exists between their gender-identity access policy and reported incidences in their stores.
"The three-season forced-category measurement found a 2.3x increase in the amount of upskirt incidents after the policy, and a 2.9x increase in peeping tom incidents after the policy," the study found, highlighting the significant rise of voyeurism-related and peeping Tom offenses.
Of the 220 incidents measured, six were counted as two separate offense types, according to the report. Of these 226 offenses, nearly 30 percent were labeled "upskirt offenses," where perpetrators attempted or did look up the skirt or clothing of a woman; 27 percent were non-upskirt related voyeuristic offenses; and 18.6 percent were classified as "indecent exposures." Thirty-four percent of all the incidents involved minors. All the offenses were perpetrated by males and almost all of the victims were female.
Thirty-eight of the incidents were considered sexual assaults while 15 were categorized under "lewdness," the data show.
A chart in the study reveals in the 16 months that followed the April 2016 policy change — May 2016 to August 2017 — 80 sexual offenses occurred, nearly twice the number of the previous 16 months.
"While it is possible that a general rise in voyeuristic sexual offenses relative to other offenses may account for some of this increase, the magnitude and precise timing of the increase suggests that Target's gender-inclusion policy accounts for the bulk of it," Dirks said in a WMS press release obtained by The Christian Post.
"The most likely hypothesis to explain our findings is that Target's policy signaled to sexual offenders that voyeuristic offenses would be easier to perpetrate in their stores than elsewhere."

Im going back to uni so i can be an engineer and get paid more but yeah, my sister never had the real world experiences i had and ended up like what you almost turned into since shes never left the upper middle class bubble.

Do the TruTrans/transmed/truscum types seem happier than their tucute peers?

When I was a little more naive, that was my assumption. However I've started questioning that. They don't seem happier but they do seem to feel they're more "valid".

One thing I've learned over the years is that when someone says that they're "valid" or their choices/feelings are "valid", chances are they are a miserable, insecure mess. Declarations of validity are a symptom of an external locus of control.

Why in the hell would a woman troon out? They have it so good, especially these days. Why do they throw it all away?

It's mainly the socially-awkward and tomboyish ones that do. which pisses me off personally because they make up most of my dating pool From what I gather, they're not like MTFs who troon out thinking it'll put them on easy mode or hoping to live out a fetish (though there are some like this, e.g. the fujo-to-FTM pipeline), rather it's more peer pressure and "I don't look/act stereotypically feminine so I must not be a woman".
