Well I gotta wonder, what's wrong with associating with people who believe in what you do? I'm not saying you gotta look a certain way to be punk, but it's very telling when you see people with dyed hair and tattoos say they're punk. while believing in Gender Idealogy, all because of their aesthetic. They think buying these outside things will buy their way into a subculture that's supposed to reject conformity and embrace individuality. That's why I brought up the whole aesthetic choices.
Sure back then a lot of what people in that subculture wore was very out-there, but that was because it was socially taboo to do so.- and you didn't have to look like that to "be punk". It really all comes down to music choice and shared beliefs. Now due to the mainstream, which trannies unironically follow, its simply a fashion statement surrounded by far left ideology. That's what Ive noticed anyway.
