I'm just glad someone is talking about this retard. The amount of MtFs that use anime as a segway to troonery is fucking pathetic and obnoxious. You can't literally go anywhere without some greasy neckbeard UwUing like the short bus came early for once.
What's the FtM poonery segway?

What's the FtM poonery segway?
Speaking from experience and then observation, a lot of pooners tend to enjoy edgier content. Usually horror and stoner "broo" older 90s/80s movies or the earlier 2000s comedy movies with humor that wouldn't fly today. Stuff that teenage boys cling onto, mostly, but they first enjoy it unironically and then enjoy it ironically after they realize it makes more of a manly dood.

Despite that, they still insist on totalitarian beliefs. It's sad.

Sexual trauma,androphobia and yaoi
This too when it comes to fujo pooners, they suck ass. They start off obnoxious and then become even more obnoxious after pooning.

With pooners, there are two types and no in between imo.
- Handmaiden fujo turned fujo pooner incel. Usually homophobic from the start, the classic pick me.
- Unintentional handmaiden tomboy turned self hating incel/porn brained pooner, usually HSTS but not always. More often not simply a girl who doesn't act girly so she got groomed into pooner idealogy, as opposed to fujo pooners who get into pooner idealogy to be a predator/bully.

What's the FtM poonery segway?
Literally, a majority of it is yaoi/gay media. It is shockingly not completely different from the MtFs, but it's way more complicated at the same time. These girls are so wrapped up in their lack of identity that they'll latch onto anything. They also can't cope with the fact that men will always treat them like sexual objects, so they go with the next best thing--becoming a (gay) man. They see it as an opportunity to become a new person and have more agency. Shocker, they end up in the same shithole situation of being some guys easy lay. These dudes feed into their bs and get free, crazy pussy in return. And because they consume so much fucked up yaoi, they think it completely normal for a dude to sexually and physically abuse them on the daily. Just as long as they see them as cute little twink and fuckable.
Across all troonery: they have a delusion of reinventing themselves easily, running away from their problem, and become more fuckable.

I've literally watched this dude cry because, shocker, he's a fucking man now. Girls won't teehee with them, and men don't care for them. Ppl like that on HRT want to be a man, got it, yet can't cope with the fact that they are not. That's why the fujoshi kind keep their bodies as is. Not only do they want to be "boyish," but they would kill themselves if they had to live with shit like this. What gay man is going to fuck them with their pussies, and what straight man is going to fuck them looking like a man? Fantasy over reality is the only thing they can use to cope with their unfortunate lives.

I'm sorry this reads like a suicide note, but, Jesus fuck, they're literally the most pathetic and depressing ppl you will ever have the misfortune of meeting. Edgar Allen Poe would've started writing feel-good stories if he spent a week with them.

I think another main thing that bothers me regarding troons is the sheer amount of men, whether they personally troon out or not, who view women as less than objects.

These people treat troons better than they do with actual woman. They are more willing to emphasize with and humanize a troon, geniuely feel emotional about troons, than they do with actual women. "Straight" men who either go on to troon out themself or date a troon will be more compassionate toward their troon bf than they ever have with a woman. They truly see TiMs as better than women. Not because they are more attractive than women, but because they are not actually a woman.

That level of sheer sexism toward women kinda scares me, man. Same with the homophia. Theyre so aggressive about it. Others mentioned it in other threads, but yeah troons and poons are no different than Nazis.

As tempting as it is to joke about censorship having utility after all, these broken kids would just turn toward something else instead.

We really need to do screen and helpfully intervene but given how for profit medicine tends to go, straight to hell, fiik. Censor the tranime/yaoi/etc now and then figure out how to provide therapy without brainwashing later? 🤷

The worse part about medicine and working in it: higher ups never care about the quality of care but the number of patients. These poor kids are just quotas.
The interviewee, a counselor, worked at a gender clinic and was expected to let anyone pass the test. She saw a literal autistic 14 year-old girl that identified as a “wounded dog”. Who proceeded to show the woman graphic, violent anime posts as an explanation for their identity.

It’s incredibly hard to censor that kind of media. We’ve all gotten into some crazy shit way easier than we should have as kids. And we certainly kept it to ourselves incredibly well. It’s, unfortunately, something they’ll have to learn the hard way in therapy.

Oh I know all about that shit and even have an extremely depressing thread to read about kids as quotas. There's even a "#theycalledusunits" hashtag going around after legal discovery yielded that internal language used by the old WWASPS network. That industry is already putting "gender blahblah" all over their websites but the depths of their gender informed treatment is they have individual or by-natal-sex trans dorms, and are abused the same as everyone else.

As far as censorship - why? It isn't a cause. The brothers Grimm and the same culture that has the likes of Krampus didn't have problems with trannyfurryblahblahwhatever kids.

The problem is we aren't giving these kids anywhere to go or anything to aspire to, just various screens to stare at while society rots around them.

We literally have no spaces for teenagers anymore. All they have is school and online. Their parents either hold them too tight to see anyone or they live too far away to see to see anyone outside of school. Like back in the early 2000s, the internet was just an aspect of your social life. We still had friends we’d see both inside and outside of school. Now it’s their only social life and comfort, especially if you feel like an outsider. I don’t blame them for latching onto anything that provides a sense of community and easy friendships. It a shame when it just turns out to be an even bigger sham.

This is a big thing to me in today's world. Kids and teens have no places in the real world to be themselves, and even their online spaces gradually shut down or got corrupted/folded up by adults/bigger sites. Reddit's /r/teenagers sub famously got exposed as an adult predator haunt in the same vein /r/actuallesbians is entirely full of troons. Seeing teens banned from malls without a chaperone would've been unthinkable in the 1990s and I'm willing to say we were a lot more "dangerous" (re: disruptive, not actually dangerous) back then versus today's timid zoomer and alpha drones.

Loath as I am to admit to anything that resembles that "fuckcars" movement, I also admit I confess I dislike how so many people live far away from each other nowadays and you need to drive too long to get anywhere - that is something I think a lot suffer from, not just youngin's. But I also very much blame the economy's shoddy state in general, and its concentrating work hubs into a few hideously expensive sites no one can afford in particular, as much as I do inefficient transport and distance.

So these lonely youths go online for any sort of companionship and not only do they suffer the Dead Internet Theory/Enshittification Theory in real time, the only people they DO find are Le (P)Redditors wanting to groom them pretending they're fellow kids. And then they get pushed to troon out. Good God, would I hate to be a teenager in today's world.

Honestly i feel women are way bigger horror fans than men in general. They are what keeps true crime afloat. Its very weird that the genderspecials can switch to behaving like snowflakes and policing language but when you look at popular tags on fanfiction sites it gets very dark very quickly with very non-pc and nsfl stuff.

Fujos consume a lot of edgy content thats directed specifically at women too. Horror has its own category within shoujo manga and boylove.

Kentaro Miura from Berserk fame was a reader of female manga and it makes complete sense that he would when you see the kind of stories that were coming out in the 70s and 80s. Like, back then men manga would be about guys winning baseball games with the power of friendships , female manga had stories about murder, rape, psycological manipulation, betrayal and suicide. Very melodramatic stuff.

A number of places near me have signs up saying that minors are not permitted without parents. This included my local mall's ghetto-ass parking lot carnival. A carnival!

Part of the problem is that teens are fucking feral these days, in no small part because of TikTok fuckery and other social media nonsense, but it's a poisonous and toxic cycle. No third places for teens, so they become more online, where they're encouraged to be antisocial and destructive, so more public places will ban them, so they become more online...

Exactly. We've pathologized kids and for the hat trick said anyone who cares about kids and is a pedo. On the other hand we are realizing just how much of a child abuse pandemic there has been for as long as humans have existed, so, meh.

We've cooked up this "stuck in the present" society that's anti kid, anti aging, anti death - in the sense of we don't think about kids, aging, or death - that's all about the most retarded kind of base hedonism and not about the actual good life, that makes you actually happy.

Hedonic treadmills are pretty well understood and the oldest written wisdom talks about this. It also tells us to realize we're mortal, will inevitably die, should take care of each other, the old, the young, and have families.

The driving forces of messaging and activism for basically my entire adult life has been career, money, things you buy with money, sex, ~expression~ in a sexual sense, and status.

Sex for sex's sake doesn't really make you happy. Shit you buy with money only makes you so happy unless it's instrumental for experiences with other people. Families make you happy. Community makes you happy. Not one fucking person on their death bed regrets family, they regret chasing the wrong things or working too much and not speaking up for what they believe in.

Trying to argue for "hey let's come back together!" when everyone is forming ranks by their identities and demographic affinities is particularly hard, but it's what we need to do, and not just for the sake of "trans kids" but for ourselves. FIIK how to do it except "GET OVER YOURSELF AND YOUR BULLSHIT" but it has be done.

Unless you want to live Very Online lives more and more and fucking die out and hope that the inheritors of the earth don't make our mistakes. Sure, you can be a voluntary extinction antinativist faggot, but if you really believe that please go get some tickets to Canada and lead by example.

Hedonistic consumerism is the bane of our existence. These kids are constantly bombard with these short cuts to happiness. Be rich, be pretty (ie “sexy”), and internet famous and you’ll be someone worthy of love and respect. These poor kids had nothing but the internet to fall back on during the pandemic, and they were sold a pipe dream. Consider all these pre-teen and teenage girls running around it skimpy outfits. The media they consume taught them that sexuality equates to maturity, and maturity equates to acceptability. Yeah, we’ve all tried to dress mature when we were younger, but we didn’t have fucking predators whispering in our ears. It isn’t like back in the chatroom and forums days where you knew not to go along with any randos bs. We all assumed we were pretending to be someone else. For god sake we had to catch a predator and mandatory internet safety lessons to tell us to watch our backs online. These kids don’t even know the difference until they’re in too deep. Let alone that your supposed to be anonymous online.

Fuck me, I had a 19 year-old tell me that every girl he knew was groomed online. I was literally the same age as their eldest sibling. He was envious of how fun the internet was for us. And all I could tell him we only had spaces for ppl our ages and places to go to play games and watch videos. You knew exactly who your friends were and who wasn’t it.

Let's not forget the millennial parents who were suckered in a bit themselves - not to blame them per-se as much as point out the trend germinated within us, as adults, to some degree. No, I don't have kids, I'm scared shitless at the thought of having to protect a kid against the system as it exists.

You hit the nail on the head with a damn nuke. You're supposed to explore things and grow up and make mistakes and learn as you go, as a teenager, with other actual true and honest teenagers, like we did, instead of being a plaything for a creepy adult. As you said, we've denied kids space to be kids, so we've denied the opportunity to be kids and not just immature, deficient adults, so they're online being groomed and hypersexualized by fucked up adults who needed their own interventions 15 years ago. I ran across a bit of that myself, but given my particular childhood, I don't know how diagnostic it is for the general population.

And here's my followup nuke: look at how boys are sexualizing themselves. "Femboy" this and that, this feminization as a means to be appealing - it's like we collectively decided "let's make kids into fuckthings like ancient fucking history!" for some reason and I'm all but waiting on WPATH to talk about catamite, by name, as a fucking identity now.

I'm not fucking kidding. They already did that shit with eunuch!

Looking at the zoomer-opinions of KF or the notion of free speech and anonymity is a fucking shock. They're so used to overbearing teachers and "adult supervision", overbearing mods on big forums, reddit, and even petty faggot dictator discord mods, that the notion of not having controlled speech, disagreements with authority, or even at all, is alien to them. Of course they can't fucking set boundaries, are easy to bully, and melt down if they deal with confrontation.

Shit, I'm pushing 40 and at 18 I was manipulated into a lot of dumb shit, but just went "meh" because all the other shit in my life makes it hard to evaluate what's "eh shit happens" and "wait this is remarkable" until you jogged my memory. At least it's not technically grooming if I wasn't a minor.

Fuck my life and this gay earth. This entire fucking year so far has been OH HEY GUESS WHAT ELSE YOU FORGOT UNTIL NOW YOU WALKING TALKING FUCKING PSYCHIC DISASTER LOL.

I didn't realize a lot of how bad it was until you put it down so clearly. Mother fuck. I would add to it that it started with our generation, just not so open and flagrant as it is now, if only because you weren't stuck on a fucking grooming device all day.

This is what frightens me the most, even though I agree 100% with what you're saying on everything else as well.

Like I said, I know times are tough economically, and hence a big motivator to keep your head down and not rock the boat. But.... the almost feudalistic acceptance of things being shitty and crab-bucket mentality amongst young people due to social media mobs is terrifying. Of going with the crowd no matter what. I'm 38 myself. You know it, back in our day we were taught to (try to) be independent, speak up, follow what we felt was the right thing to do. Shit, Garfield and Friends' Buddy Bears gag (a show I watched as a kid) PARODIED the groupthink our generation was getting away from with the "if you ever disagree that means you are wrong" line in their theme song. "If you have a point of view, then keep it out of sight." And yet.... yet now this is unironically what's being peddled. This is what the future became.

The internet being so controlled by a million little tyrants or overseers as it consolidates, you're right, it's shaped a lot for the worse since one can get cut off from culture and society. But when will everyone wake up and realize the internet is not the real world?

Please don't make women just living their lives without lipstick the next fucked up stripe on a pride flag.
That's not my intention, truly. My comment was pretty vague and I should have elaborated more. I work in a queer-friendly field and am given a lot of latitude in what kind of displays and programs I can do. I mentioned earlier that I recently went somewhere that had a ton of zines and there was no gay representation. It was all trans and nonbinary shit. This coincided with me finding out what the "cotton ceiling" is and, jeeze, it must be rough out there to be a lesbian. It also made me realize that pride displays are pretty male-centric in general.

I used to be big into gender theory and at the time I thought that I was so right. Recently I read Irreversible Damage and I saw a lot of teenage me in it, or at least feeling like I wasn't good at being a girl. In hindsight, I just wanted to assert my individuality and still fit in and be liked. So... an average teenager. I am SO glad that this wasn't everywhere then like it is now, because I know that I would have been susceptible to it. I also feel pretty ashamed that I advocated for something that is so harmful, especially to young girls.

I love my job even though I'm not a fan of the alphabet bullshit, I guess this is me trying to find a way to make a part of my job that I dislike more tolerable?

When the USSR and communism was seen as an enemy and a net negative it kept people from being completely retarded.

Not sure if the fall of both led to "~kids these days~" glomming on it, or our overbearing thought policing led them to naturally gravitate, but here we are.

The aristocrats.

I'm only 25 and was taught to function and think independently, but it also helped that I had a father (who was 56 yrs old) who knew what he was doing. My brother was coddled to hell and back by our mother, and he's 32. I doubt he knows how to do anything on his own (aside from getting arrested). It's so crazy to see how differently it varies from generation to generation. Like I only need a five-year age difference to be completely disconnected from these kids. Like Gen Xers hold their kids too tight and coddle them, and now the millennial parents are going in the opposite direction.

So... an average teenager. I am SO glad that this wasn't everywhere then like it is now, because I know that I would have been susceptible to it. I also feel pretty ashamed that I advocated for something that is so harmful, especially to young girls.
Oh god, yeah! At that age, we all felt like awkward outsiders. We all wanted acceptance, no matter where you stood socially. Suddenly, our bodies changed, and we weren't on the same level anymore. I was a total tomboy through and through, yet it wasn't a problem until I hit middle school. My body became the focal point of who I was. I loved baggy clothes because they took away the scrutiny and insane sexualization I experienced. Now, at this age, I'm only weird when it comes to bathing suits. They're a little too skimpy for my tastes (obviously that's just me).
Holy shit, I would've jumped on that wagon if it meant I had a sense of normality.

The problem is we aren't giving these kids anywhere to go or anything to aspire to, just various screens to stare at while society rots around them.
That's false. They've got plenty of places to aspire to; it's just that they want to rebel and hang out with other kids rather than be good little A+ students (probably because rebelling and hanging out is easier, both with regards to effort and not rebelling).

It isn’t like back in the chatroom and forums days where you knew not to go along with any randos bs. We all assumed we were pretending to be someone else. And that's the tragic thing about it. The internet could have remained both enriching and safe (all under anonymity) if it stayed in the chatroom/forum days, but smartphones and social media messed that all up. Smartphones allowed us to take the internet wherever we wanted, so the line between real life and internet got blurred, especially with the encouragement of social media companies like Twitter and Facebook, which also discouraged anonymity and encouraged you to document your real-life 24/7 (it's especially bad now with Youtubers and streamers -- I really wish Youtube never allowed people to make money from the site). Everything had to be phone-friendly too, so rather than try to use your forums on phone Safari, you used Tumblr because it had an app, and on Tumblr you had 14-year-olds talking about Adventure Time right next to 30-year-old men talking about My Little Pony, and those men were also there for the messed-up porn and fetish "communities" that were always the main draw of Tumblr. Add to that that Tumblr had lots of SJ communities and that lots of the creepy bronies and furries would also decide to become the anime girl, and you get the real girls on Tumblr pooning out because Steven Universe doesn't get asked for nudes online. And it flew under all these girls' radars because they always lived in a world with internet and all their friends were on social media (where nothing was anonymous), so surely the internet is a safe place full of girls just like them? Right? Nowadays I'm at the point where the only way to stop this is to nuke online anonymity altogether, and it's really sad because we may not have had to if not for smartphones and social media. I also think that smartphones propelled the porn crisis since you could wank anytime, anywhere at high speeds, plus since everyone is online, you're not a loser if you're always online for porn, and you can go into your social media fetish "communities" on your phone all the time so you don't have to feel bad about it. Of course, porn fueled troonism as well. I seriously feel like that lots of zoomers' "Y2K webcore" obsession is because of this -- we wish we could have that internet full of cool, creative sites again rather than soulless white, black, and blue social media sites that only exist to drain your time and attention for ad profit. It's also kind of dangerous because if they want older-style websites that are still active, their choices are nu-4cuck, which is just a BBC gooncave on bigger boards and endless spam/bait threads on smaller boards, or places like the Sharty which are all "ironically" degenerate.
