I wonder if there's anything about modern, developed society that lead to AGP-ism? It's a big question no one could answer me yet - the only answer I have is that the way transitioning is framed and gatekept in the west is more to do with the concept of distress and self-actualization, as opposed to the lack of interest in masculine endeavors.
I don't know much about Thai culture sadly, but I'll do my best.
One of the big things in east and west cultural divide is the divide between collectivism and individualism. Both have their own benefits & drawbacks, but that's another discusssion. The pressure to conform and the family as an inseparable unit that reflects back on each other tends to lead to the biggest groups affected by transbianism, autistic people, to conform more and their parents to discourage bad habits and interest more intensely. Those are harder societies for autistic people to function in, but at least the transbians and most depraved weirdness is attempted to be beaten out of them or attempted to switch focus to something else.
There is also not enough free time: much of current western troon culture primarily relies on the internet to exist. You're not seeing as many trans people IRL in most towns and cities in the west because a lot of them are terminally online. Many realize, even subconciously, that trans personhood is much harder to enforce offline. Online, there's no faces and no constant reminders you're talking to a woman dressed as a man or a man dressed as a woman. In person, it's a different matter. A lot of these people are also afflicted with anxiety and may or may not be unwilling to leave the house. Children living with their parents for most of their adulthood but not doing much is sustainable due to how welfare programs work and the parents working jobs/on welfare themselves that allow them to exist like this. Ideally the parents don't want a dependent child with no job prospects or outside friends, but sometimes it can't be helped due to a genuine inability to function or a stubborn unwillingness to change the parents are tired of challenging and live in quiet defeat with. Basically you can have basement dwelling incel to transbian pipeline supported as a lifestyle on accident due to the economy, culture, and family set up.
Another break is that homosexual doesn't mean "has to play the opposite gender's sex role" in the west. As in, two men can have sex and neither is the women in the social day to day life, they're just two partners. Two women can have sex and they can both be butch as hell, neither butch in the slightest, and every variant in between. If you touch other men's peepees there are flamboyant stereotypes, but no role one is encouraged to conform to that leads to more social encouragement or a premade culture. There are some cultures that do have a "if you're gay you can dress like a woman and be a lesser fag man here" spaces but not in the west.
That's all I can think of for now. There's probably more, but that's the main things that stick out.
Actually: how does your country treat women compared to men? Incels have been gravitating to "I can be a woman" because it's more socially acceptable for a woman to be a programmer, an engineer, and other autistic pursuits along with being able to ecconomically get things in their own name. There's less troons in more economy inequality countries because transbians want to have the economic freedom to buy and spend as much as they want on themselves, as well as still engage in their autistic loves like programming. They're selfish manchildren at heart.
