Like, she was keen to know why I voted Trump and so I finally said it, "he tells the truth about trans people. Kamala would not have done that."

And then ofc there was a ton of false comparison to trans people with "omg would you say that about black people?!?! what about gay people?!?! (no and no, mostly, because you are born black or gay honestly. Troons are not born troons.)

And then I was asked, why are you so threatened, what did a trans person ever do to you? And I says, well, between 2017-2018 one kept showing up in the ladies' changing room at the Equinox.
And then mom is like "Well why are you so threatened by that?! "
Bitch, I undress and shower and get naked in there!!!
How are other liberal women this fucking tonedeaf?! And they tell me "oh well you must be ignorant and never met trans people." NO. NO. NO.
Mother I went to Sarah Lawrence, it's like half gay and 10% troons. I was pre-cured to this nonsense ahead of time and I've finally gotten fed up. Fuckin' troons in my bathrooms! I had the displeasure of sharing the changing room at Equinox Gym Chestnut Hill with this lilylivered tranny in lululemons with a bunch of criscrossing straps over his giant flat chest and shoulder. He never did anything horribly egregious like change in front of us (he used a private stall), I never saw him in the steam or the sauna, the showers are singletons, but the notion that I might unwittingly turn the corner, having just stepped out the shower, dripping wet and wearing nothing but a gym bath towel and Crocs... it's not OK to me, in a way that appearing that way in front of a lesbian is not. There's a reason the spaces were sex segregated in the first place and mom is totally willing to ignore that context... sometimes she just shouts me down with Trump whataboutery.

I want to persuade the other liberals, but I don't know that they are ready to listen.

One thought regarding TRAs blaming the high suicide rate of trans people on discrimination. I mentioned before how no other minority group has high suicide rates. Notice how when Trump was elected that the suicide rate for blacks, illegals, gays, hispanics, etc didn't go up. Only trans people's suicide rates are said to have increased because of Trump's election. Democrats have insisted that there's still a lot discrimination against black people and yet no word of suicide rates increasing. Illegals are getting deported and yet I have yet to hear about mass suicide rates going up in that group. Why are trans people (who they claim aren't mentally ill) the only group that decides to off themselves when faced with opposition? I know TRAs will say "Its because those groups dont face nearly the same discrimination as trans people do" which I feel like is a very narcissistic thing to say. Not trying to defend illegals but for arguments sake, these people are comparing people getting deported back to whatever hellhole they came from to "misgendering" them or getting rejected because they tried to deceive someone into sex. This just feels like they're very fragile compared to other groups.
