Ok, posting a post from such an unpopular blog is downright a-loggy of me, but I just wanted to ask: how, when and why has tumblr collectively decided to make tieflings like this (I ever saw a post about it once, with tumblr's "gay party animal" version presented as an improvement)?
God knows, I'm all for interesting setting developments, but this rubs me the wrong way.

Judging from the official lore that:
1) Tieflings are discriminated against.
2) They still retain an odd air from their demon heritage.

Gay and lesbian communities were born out marginalization, of course, but I guarantee you that all the people who write posts like this have never faced any of that. They're kids and young adults who grew up long after the worst of it. They just want to turn the LGBT community into a cliquey subculture that makes them feel cool and interesting and special.
