Tumblr is now calling for the firing of the umpire who called Serena Williams out and for the violations she was given. Now they're blaming it on men.

Serena was WAY out of line and deserved her violation punishments. Most tennis players should take the coaching violation and keep playing to beat the points. Her coach admitted to doing some coaching from the sidelines and that's why the first violation was given. Serena made a huge scene the entire time which is why she deserved every single violation during that game. After the first violation instead of playing the game she kept going up to the umpire and fighting him. She broke her racket and deserved the violation on that. She deserved her final violation for continuing to make a big scene.
The whole thing was bad sportsmanship and she's gotten in trouble before for misbehaving whenever the tennis match didn't go her way, so it's not like this is the first time.
John McEnroe had to pay for all his violations every time he got one, so she should too.
Trust Tumblr to overreact and immediately point to sexism though.

Agreed, and McEnroe didn't cry like a little bitch about it after the fact. He even admitted a couple times he'd been out of line.

I saw the video of it and read up on the details and she fucked up but because of her gender she apparently doesn't deserve to be punished and played the race card. She also ruined Osaka's win because of the temper tantrum and took all attention.
