This was on a callout post for biggest-gaudiest-patronus. (the blog, if anyone's curious)

Don't worry, kid, we'll get there.

Gaud's sycophantic fans are drawing fanart of them going against all the haters. It's pretty funny.

Translation: Ignore all the things people are saying about me being a creepy weirdo who did creepy things because everything I do here is for free and YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL.

Edit: Even better- their sideblog where they've been reblogging suck up posts talking about how all the creepy stuff they did was BS:

Didn't that movie also come out like 10 years ago or something now?
There is currently a cartoon being aired based off of it, and the usual Tumblr cycle for when a new kids' show comes out is taking place.

Step one: "This cartoon has characters that are [insert minority group here]! It is therefore flawless, and anyone who dislikes anything about it is a bigot!"

Step two: The tumblrites craft their headcanons/ships/whatever other bullshit and then bitch at each other and write call out posts for those who don't subscribe to the most popular ones. Fan artists are given the same treatment if they dare to understand how lighting works and make a character's skin a slightly lighter shade. At this stage, a lot of the fanbase gets annoyed and stops giving a shit about the show because the fanbase has sucked all the joy from it.

Step three: Someone digs up something "problematic" someone working on the show said years ago &/or a gay ship isn't made canon. The show is now literally worse than Nazi Germany and the people working on it are all Hitler. "Critical" blogs pop up, nitpicking every minor detail that they deem to be un-woke. Anyone caught still enjoying the show is a bigot.

Step four: Some new show comes out, and the cycle begins once more. Rinse and repeat.

It has to be this way because Tumblr's community is built around being miserable, even liking something needs to be a miserable experience.

Well that's one checkmark on "The Tumblr community is a literal hate plague that feeds on the despair of its own users before assimilating them into the regular behavior of its previous victims".

Even worse, if you ever liked it, you now have to self-flagellate and admit you were a bigot when you liked it, even if you were only going along with the other woke idiots at the time you pretended to like it (tumblr hates everything almost as much as it hates itself).

Shit, son, and the biggest complaint I ever had of that movie was there was like... 2 minutes actual conversation time between the songs.

Didn't that movie also come out like 10 years ago or something now?

REEEEE REEEEE it had WYPIPO IN IT!

This guy over here broke his phone because he sperged out because he was angry over how much his life apparently sucks, then he admitted he broke his phone because he acted like an asshole, then he got Tumblr to repair it when he could have just bought a cheaper phone.

LOL, Tumblr.

Oh boy, I have another one that I saw right after I posted this, so I'm going to add it here instead of double posting.

Tumblr Translation: I hate this company so much that I'm going to tell everyone having fun on this post how much I hate that they're having fun and I'll ruin your fun post and good time with this dumb video.

Shorter Tumblr Translation: How dare you have fun on this post!

I'm trying to understand the thought process that makes one destroy an expensive item they need just because they're feeling a little down in the dumps..

Thought Process: "Mommy and Daddy have always bought me everything I've ever wanted, therefore I shouldn't have to actually feel responsible for preserving any material possessions I own because someone will buy me a new one anyway!"

Way way way back in my wee childhood years, this was actually a very easy method to tell which kids had rich parents and which ones were taught personal responsibility because they didn't have the money to burn on replacing luxuries like this. You get the kid with the working original gameboy vs. the kid who's on his 3rd Gameboy color this year.

Same shit, different generation.
