Jesus Christ just walk away. Mental illness is on you for life so you've gotta learn some coping mechanisms, not everyone can stop what they're doing to cater to you so you have to take initiative, it's your life.
People who act like this seriously make people doubt they have mental conditions because of how fucking entitled it sounds.

Did this person watch the show? The new She-Ra is complete pandering up and down. No questions asked. It's made for people on Tumblr and neutered everything good about the original (I'm not just talking about style) to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

There are several moments in the show in which they clearly bait for the Tumblr audience because they think that is what will keep ratings. Adora and Catra don't even end up in a relationship. It was still pruned to appeal to the shipping fandom because the people who made the show wanted to put that in there. It was still written in a way not to be seen as an actual relationship, but as shipping fodder. That's representation for a gay relationship? Really? It's no different from when the networks wanted to call a character gay, but couldn't so they had to shove every reference in there so people would get it. Remember, queerbaiting is bad, but when Tumblr does it, it's suddenly okay.

The "queerness" of the new She-Ra is an absolute joke. It's not made to even tell a good story that has gay people in it, it's made to check off every list for what is an acceptable new-age #woke gay character. It should be used as a guidebook on how NOT to make a case for sexuality in a character. The relationships are weak, the writing is juvenile, the pacing is piss-poor and it's a shame that this was made for the "sake of diversity" when the original already had gay and diverse people working on the show. What absolute bullshit.

I seriously don't get what the hell she's going on about.
Somehow I don't think the language scholars of yore sat down and schemed up rules specifically to keep the poor disabled people down.
Language sperging ahead.
English and French use non-phonetic spelling systems to write. They started out as phonetic, but language shift has caused the pronunciation of words to stray from the spelling. All languages have this problem, but while some languages have specific language institutions that revamp the spelling system every X-years to keep it close to how it's spoken (I think Norwegian revamps every ~20 years?), France's institution (Académie française) is infamously conservative and picky about the written rules. French culture places a high value on speaking, reading, and writing French "properly", which is a big reason they can sometimes be unfriendly to French language learners. But it was never about keeping French difficult for the disabled. It's about preserving French culture and identity in the written language. Also, there are very good arguments for not updating how to spell shit every generation.

Writing has, historically, been a huge deal and privilege... for the ruling class. When King Sejong of Korea created Hangul, there was a great deal of blowback from the nobility because it took years to learn Chinese characters (something poor people didn't have time to do) and making a system that was easy to learn meant that those ugly poor people could read and write. So the idea of writing being part of an exclusive club isn't too far of a stretch, but again, it had nothing to do with disabled people.

I really hate it when I see these flow charts on tumblr. They really just reek of pretentiousness.

And it's really funny because the ask makes a point. Why the hell would you go through the effort of "fixing", uglifying, screaming at people who don't agree with you, and claiming the creator to be XXXphobic and YET STILL be a fan of the work? There's liking the creations of those who aren't good people and then there's making false claims because they did something you didn't like.

Are they complaining about a fucking belt of all things?

Also, they do know that there's a reason why all the main characters have flashy, ridiculously cool outfits, right? In-universe, the characters are doing this hero thing for a living. The more attention they get, the better, because that gets their name out there. The more well-known a hero is, the better the pay tends to be. They use their costumes to advertise their abilities as well as telling you exactly what their personality is like.

Out of universe, nobody wants to read or watch a story where all the characters are in shitty, frumpy costumes because muh practicality. The audience wants characters to wear flashy, ridiculous costumes because they're fun! It's cool to see how creative the author can get with the outfits, and it's cool to see the characters fight in said outfits. Fun stuff sells and keeps audience interest. Frumpy stuff does not.
