Which is all totally heterosexual stuff. Calling that queer is like calling it queer for a heterosexual man to get off to lesbo porn.
Yes, it would be heterosexual in nature. The thing is, it still seems to affect people’s behavior (including relationships) regardless of their orientation.

And yeah, there’s nothing transgressive about glorified fap material. It is what it is.

Yup, and especially the adults who repeatedly write stories about kids fucking, or adults fucking kids. I hate a 'but the chiiiiillldrennnnn', but I also hate slash fiction, and those (who are 95% women) who aggressively defend it and try and push all their emotional bullshit onto whatever book they've imprinted on.

It would at least be something if they just acknowledged it was their fap material, but instead they act like it's Important Work. I heard a university lecturer once describe slash fiction as the most transgressive kind of literature there is, because it's by the fans not the creators, nearly always by women rather than men, and is gay/queer rather than straight. And it's a position I've seen many female SJWs, more than the men, take - that if they like something, it has to Matter, and Say Something, and Represent Their Ideals.

They can't just admit they like reading about kids from their favourite books fucking, because that doesn't sound enlightened. And it makes them sound both pretty gross, and massive hypocrites when they criticise anything they don't like about sexiness aimed at men.
There's a large number of 30+ women on tumblr (and real life also) who are just...weird, even if they're not into slash. They're obsessed with YA literature. They're what you think of when you think of stereotypical tumblrites. They write lots of posts about how adults are allowed to be in fandom, which, sure, but I don't get why they want to be.

Fandom purity culture is weird, but so are a lot of adults in fandom. I remember being 12 and reading very explicit sexual fanfic between 12 year old Hermione and Harry, written by a grown man. I didn't know what a lot of the words were, but looking back, it's uncomfortable. And I honestly don't really understand adults who are super-obsessed with media that's designed for teens--don't you want something more mature?
abt 6-7 yrs ago my sister worked a retail job selling expensive stuff at high commissions. one thing she learned to do was quickly 'bond' with customers when they walked in. like if they had some team shirt on, she'd say something about the game or sport (she likes sports). she complimented ppl's clothes, shoes, tattoos. if they asked about a certain brand of speakers, she'd ask what they wanted to listen to on the speakers, maybe talk about music. etc.

some middle-aged woman came in wearing a 'twilight' shirt & my sister made some vague twilight comment. in response, this woman talked straight 'twilight' gibberish to her for the next 90 minutes, obsessively. this was a woman betw 40-50 by my sister's estimation. ! she humored her since she bought stuff, but thought she might be unbalanced but i told her it sounded like a typical middle aged woman tumblr "YA fan" to me.

she never forgot that, her 1st brush up against real live crazy-fandom.

Never comment about a fandom shirt or even acknowledge that you recognize it. Even if it's something you like. Because whoever is wearing it is probably crazy.

The real awful ones don't like Twilight. They like things they perceive as intellectual, like Doctor Who. They're very smug about this. They're part of the broader category of people who like widely dissimilated pop culture thinking they're nerds.

Way to completely miss the point, you dork.

"Gosh, I can't believe fucking men talk about their feelings in spaces specifically geared towards talking about one's feelings, this is sexism."
This is real disgusting misandry, like real misandry, not the incel mra crap. Y'know maybe edgy red on black bitch needs to stop fucking shaming so that more men would talk in group therapy instead of punching walls but yeah whatever talking about it is a bad thing I guess. And surprise, it's probably a tumblr lesbian with the mindset "men are all the same, only women are diverse", because for every man who talks your ear off in therapy, there's ten who think showing their emotions is weakness. But God knows she'd bitch and whine if someone told her to shut up about the tumblr feels she inevitably goes off about.

That's why I couldn't believe a post like that was in the recommended section. It's a toxic way of feeling. Obviously it's about how men are usually unable to talk about their feelings in positive ways. I don't know how a person could twist it that badly.

i'm a man and this fucking type of shit disgusts me. i go to therapists, psychiatrists, you name it and all of a sudden i don't talk about my feelings? fuck.

lady, the world isn't in the 1950's with this image of men being this harley driving, biker gang type. it's all about hipsters now, more girly than would be acceptable back then. you can screw off with that bullshit.

"They're just impersonating lesbians. Yes sire, there is no way as a genuinely gender-critical lesbian. They are but a bunch of tools to those evil TERFs"

This true and honest woman smashes the kyriarchy, a term that some intersectist came up with (of course):

Painting an Amerindian woman when you're white now constitutes as cultural appropriation. Please go harass her and report the account for her heinous crime https://cryptidsloth.tumblr.com/post/182797688778/hey-lets-go-report-this-account-she-keeps

So troons demand sex with women and scream at them when they refuse and this is somehow the fault of terves?

These people are nuts.

that confuses me on both ends.

ftm seems like it'd be dry and unfulfilling, mtf being.... no. you're basically perma-virgining yourself at that point.

“Prohibitionist”, dear god. That doesn’t automatically mean that you want to arrest prostitutes. I personally like the Nordic model in which buying sex is illegal but selling it isn’t. In other words, the victim isn’t committing a crime but the exploiter (the John) would be.

Gross shit pops up in recommended all the time because tumblr algorithm is terrible. iirc one recommended post was the infamous feminazi "KILL ALL MEN" cake.

To be fair I seen many entitled bratty teens whining about adults (mainly older women) in fanbases , ironically adults made the show/other media the same teens that in said fandoms and obsession with. For some strange reason they want any women over 25 to stop being into fandoms and 'do their taxes and deal with children' insults at them. But they don't really say shit to older men into fandom stuff cus in their minds those same men are just a bunch of 'geeky losers that live in their mom's basement'.

But it will be funny when those same teens grow into adulthood and get shame by other teens for still liking fandom stuff and cry about it.
