Tropes exist for a reason. If you want to make all your orcs intelligent nimble archers and all your elves dumb slow sturdy tanks, then go ahead, but don't complain when you confuse the shit out of your readers.
It's the same reason people make animal characters--it's all shorthand. If you see an owl character, you probably won't have to be told that the owl is smart, or the fox is crafty, or the donkey is stubborn. If you see an elf, you might not have to be told they're an archer, have pointy ears, are tall, or slightly stuck up (depending on the type).
E: ALSO, ain't it funny how all these "clearly jealous of Tolkien's success" kids never mention any races that weren't in the movies? I wonder what sj-flemings-writing would think of the Easterlings--a yellow-skinned race of horse riding nomads of the steppes?

I can't speak for pure fucking evil, but show me any primarily/exclusively female group that doesn't have loads of backstabbing.
I mean, honestly it could apply to anything that even vaguely resembles a royal environment, which are very common in fantasy, but to try and act like women don't do anything like that is utter, utter bullshit.

Where's that episode of a reality tv show where an all-male group and an all-female group were left to fend for themselves on an island, and at the end of the episode the men were thriving while the women were too busy bitching at each other to even put up shelter and ended up cold, wet, and miserable? Despite all the smug airs they put on at the beginning about "I think we can cooperate better than a bunch of men"?

Sounds like The Island with Bear Grylls (UK version). It was called sexist after the first series for only featuring men. Series two had the two islands, and lots of people bickering over whether the men or the women did better, complaining that one island had more help than the other, etc. It's a Bear Grylls show anyway, so there's going to be things like convenient pigs wandering into the camp. Which as far as I remember the women kept as pets instead of killed. I saw a comment online saying that proved they were stronger than the men, because even though they were hungry they stuck to their principles and didn't kill them for food.
Meanwhile the men killed a crocodile for their food, and the show got hundreds of complaints because it was a protected species. Magical.
I'm guessing they see the unwashed/matted hair that goes with the whole unwashed-hoard-of-warriors thing, and call it dreadlocks, then racist.
Which I guess is what happens if you spend your life insisting that only black people are allowed to have dreadlocks.

It's SF but the Bene Gesserit are a pretty good example.
Tolkien himself compared the Dwarves to Jews, but it's a pretty bad example of anti-Semitism since they're almost all represented as brave and heroic. Elves come across as fairly douchey and aloof.

We've had racially/culturally/ethnically diverse fantasy for the entire lifetime of the person who wrote that post. Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, World of Warcraft, WoD/Exalted, Golarian, Magic: the Gathering, the Inheritance Cycle all have racially diverse elves (or fae) - they just don't howl and beat their chests over how woke they are. Dwarves aren't even living in the diaspora in Tolkien. It's true that Thorin and his immediate family lost their ancestral lands, but that doesn't mean their entire race is in exile. In pretty much every major, market-dominating property, Dwarf nations are hugely important sovereign powers.
I could nerd out about the entire list, but really, it should read as 'I watched the LOTR films and nothing else and now I believe they encompass the entire fantasy genre.'
