I thought they already got over this problem by deciding to use the term "cisswap" when referring to a cis opposite gender version of someone.

I'll draw whatever I feel like drawing. If a trans character is being genderbent, they'd just go from being an MTF to an FTM. You shouldn't be feeling harmed by lines on a piece of paper.
That's awfully ableist to assume that all people who like anime must be autistic.
yeah the reason for this is that most people aren't very good artists and can't accurately represent the physical differences between males and females outside of height and titties. it'd be cool to have genderbends where they have the same clothes and hairstyle but a different body.It is annoying that most genderbends(that i've seen) are lazy and resort to gender stereotypes, but that just means we should draw better genderbends.
Why can't Tumblrina troons make their mind up on genderbend art? I remember just a few years ago when genderbend art was popular, everyone seemed cool with it. (Such subject matter was never my cup of tea, but whatever.) Now it's transphobic because... reasons?
I know for a fact that, while John Green doesn't have any writing-related cocaine stories, Stephen King has at least one.
"fuck unions!"
I think OP's gonna need one of these to help with that reach:

He was so high while writing Cujo that he doesn't even remember doing it.
It was because one of the dads was trans and in the genderbend he was drawn as a woman. I mean, my immediate thought was “she’s a trans woman” but nope. Outrage.I'm really not involved with any of this sort of stuff. But the first time I saw genderbending art get criticised was when a girl did it to the Dream Daddy characters, and was instantly pilloried by Tumblr for turning gay men into women ... or something? It was a bit unclear, it was just suddenly 'problematic'. Kotaku talked about it as well, but basically there was one of the usual 'THIS ART IS PROBLEMATIC FOR REEEEEEASONS' witch-hunts. Wouldn't surprise me if the standard troonery of making everything concerning gender be solely about them and their feels is why it would get called out. I'm sure a few of the Bowsette's from a few months back got exactly the same treatment.
