Am I the only one who finds this trend of drawing (allegedly) female character like a teenage boy, and then gushing how "sexy" and "hot" she is, creepy?

Sure, "90s called" version is not perfect, but you atleast can see it's a grown-ass woman. Not a boy mid-puberty.
Tbf I have no idea what the fuck is going on with the breasts in that redesign drawing, it looks like she's got a butt protruding from her chest. That's not sexy that's body horror. If you're gonna draw 'hot' redesigns make them hot, not something that would send people running if they saw it irl

The artist is Pablo Romero, whose art style is inspired by comics from the 80's and 90's. He's perfectly capable of drawing normal looking boobs, so he probably made them as ridiculously large as possible to get a rise out of people.

I mean, I get where you're coming from I think but the comics images here don't look like "a boy mid-puberty". They just look like a grown woman who is kinda flat-chested and isn't wearing makeup. (Y'all know flat-chested women exist, right?) Which makes sense, if you're busy saving the world and crap you probably aren't paying that much attention to your lipstick.

I think this is a matter of opinion thing. If you're attracted to weird-ass looking women with breasts bigger than their heads and waists so thin they must be missing several ribs and most of their internal organs, of course the more realistic, not-overly-sexualized version of the character with a small chest, muscular torso and no makeup isn't going to appeal to you, especially if you're of the opinion that women in comics need to be sexually appealing in order to exist (which I think is pretty fucked up, personally).

I like the redesign, myself. That leather jacket is badass. I like that she's muscular. I like that she's designed to just look like a person instead of a blowup doll. I like that she embodies the idea that female characters don't have to sexually appeal to straight men in order to exist and be awesome. YMMV.

I don't know what is going on with She-Hulk's boobs in that last image and I don't want to. I dunno if I'd use that as an example of how he can draw "normal boobs"... one is three sizes bigger than the other just to make sure the viewer can see both with her posing like that lol.

The other pics are pretty cool, though. Shame he draws sexist "character as blowup doll" crap to "get a rise out of people", I'd actually respect him as an artist if he didn't. It's usually really refreshing to see a male artist who draws women that look like human beings.

LMAO modern Captain Marvel looks like Jay from Clerks. Where's Silent Bob?

Thanks for the womansplaining. I had no idea girls IRL came in all different sizes and shapes. I have never seen a girl in real life before because I live in the basement and masturbate to porn and play video games.

Thanks for the note, will need to check out more of his work.

Only people with brain damage support crazed exceptional terrorist larpers. Andy was a gay conservative POC, it's funny seeing how tumblr loved the fact he was attacked just because he was conservative. If he was a leftist and was attacked at a right wing rally they would be frothing at the mouth it was a racist homophobic attack and trying to dox everyone there.

What's next? Parasites being labeled gay culture?

Does Dracula count?

For people interested in links, here is post itself (with a gross note)

There's 1 person in the notes mentioning Wilde is bi and the whole "his ex married Stoker" thing, others are...bad.

But I also saw people go "rats are gay culture" unironically, so...

Ah, am I reading this right? Is this saying that Non-Dysphoric trans are more oppressed than dysphoric trans? Haha, what? Why is MOGAI its own category? I thought MOGAI was just another way to say LGBT that includes the weird nonsense genders, pedophilia, and has the bonus of being made by a pederast.

I know this is pointless to ask because there is none, but... What's the logic in saying non-dysphoric trans are the most oppressed? How are enbies more oppressed? I know it's mindless, but I just want to understand the insanity.
