Ugh ugh ugh. This post. Sorry for derailing the thread but look at this shit. Tumblr is so goddamn infantile, especially towards asexual people. If you don't want to fuck 24/7 then clearly that means you want to do nothing but activities geared towards 8 year olds.

To add my own, here's this wonderful bit of advice that's been floating around Tumblr a while and never fails to make me laugh/cringe when I see it.

Egg membranes are used to grow bacterial cultures. This advice is a great way to get your wound horribly infected with salmonella. In addition to SJW shit, Tumblr loves to spread stuff that was debunked on Snopes a decade ago.

I decided to log in to Tumblr after months of not touching it. I actually purged almost everyone SJWs or political off my Tumblr ages ago, but I figured there would be a few convertees since then. Tumblr did not disappoint as the blog "waltdisneyconfessions" has mostly turned into a place for teenagers to vent their feelings, and tangentially relate it to Disney characters and movies so that they can get a wider audience for it than they normally would.

The context is ridiculous. From what I gather, some white girl called a black girl the n-word, proceeded to make a variety of excuses (including the dreaded "SOSHUL EXPERIMENT" excuse), then pretended that the black girl "hacked" her blog. I dunno what happened after that because the instigator deleted. But it was hilarious to watch.

Can't find the exact post, but a large number of people (and when I say large, this post had like 400k reblogs) for some reason thought this gif was legit? There were people singing praises of world hunger being over and everyone kept asking if it worked without understanding how fucking stupid they were.

Eh, in all fairness, that IS actually pretty rude of her (assuming it happened like that, which it probably didn't). And the mother of an autistic kid should be aware of the fact that a lot of autistics really don't like being touched, especially without permission.

I do suspect they're exaggerating, and they're being really fucking obnoxious about it, but they do have a point there.

Dunno if it's been posted on this site, but it was someone getting mad over someone not putting a trigger warning on a video of Silent Hill 2.
