...which isn't even antisemitism, it's more the 'witch' archetype with the prominent nose and the crazy hair (and I think a healthy dose of Donna Murphy, the voice actress for Gothel).

You know, I never got the whole "Mother Gothel is antisemitic!" brouhaha. When I look at actual antisemitic caricatures, they tend to make the person in question unappealing as possible whereas I believe Gothel was at least intended to be at least somewhat attractive. You're probably right about the her being a witch archetype however.

Tumblr SJWs have an odd relationship with Jews. Sometimes, they claim that the most random things are antisemitic but then claim Jews are shitlords due to the Israeli-Palestine conflict.

So, on a whim, I recently looked up an artist I stopped following because I got sick and tired of their nonstop wangsting to see if anything had changed, and I found this post.

First of all, clearly things have gotten even worse since they're claiming to be a transtrender now (they were a female when I first followed them; they're claiming to be a trans man now).

Secondly, "we can't be friends if you're straight because you just won't UNDERSTAND me" and "also you can't like my art if it's just 'fun' to you and not as wrapped up in the gay identity as it is for me since that's the only part of my personality" is...definitely a new one. What happened to the days where art elitism was just about popularity/being too mainstream?
