Am I the only one that's creeped out by this fat fetish shit? It doesn't even matter if it's real people that are clearly NOT FAT, but I've seen it in a few fandoms as well, like Overwatch (poor McCree keeps being drawn as a lardass). It's like some nightmare off the front page of deviantArt. They just want everyone in the world to be lazy fatasses like they are, and it's creeping the shit outta me...

The whole thing of headcanons and shipping with real people is creepy. I mean, yeah, it's always cringey, but at least with fictional characters it's pretend. When they go around saying "i headcanon this actress as autistic" is really unsettling. They would probably go all "Misery" on their favorite celebrity if given the chance.

EDIT: Maybe it's bc I haven't played Overwatch but what is it with tumblrinas hating Mercy so much? Is it bc she's pretty and blonde (jfc, i just realized tumblr hasn't grown out of that "I hate the blonde girl in school cause she's pretty and popular" phase)

Didn't... didn't that happen in the same comic that Tracer was revealed to be lesbian? Literally the same comic where they get a canon lesbian and they complain lesbian erasure. That is an astounding level of tunnel-vision in looking for problems where there are none.

I don't understand why so many people go out of their way to be angry all the time. It sounds exhausting.

You know why they did it? Because this Evan Fong dude looks badass. And Tumblr cannot abide a badass cis male (even if he is Asian and not white).

That's why they have to woobify him by making him fat, flabby and beta as fuck with his blushy-ass round features.

Maybe it's because, in their heads, they think they stand a better chance of at some point getting with him if he's a fat, beta, bitchtits-having loser.

Cause she has a German accent (probably speaks German Swiss as she's from Switzerland), people say she's an Aryan Stereotype.

She saved Genji from death because Overwatch wanted to recruit him and instead Hanzo went apeshit and sliced the dude into finely cut ham. She (tried) to save Reaper because he was her friend. She did what she thought was best, it's not like she's some crazy criminal mastermind, christ.

Also people be butthurt that she's not in a ~muh lesbian~ relationship with Pharah.

What really gets me about this entire "Gency is racist because muh lesbians, this is lesbian erasure" situation is that Mercy and Pharah have never interacted in the story outside of gameplay, while Mercy and Genji have. This is the just-as-fetishy lesbian version of "they looked at each other once!! They're so in love, they must be!!"
