Unfortunately, that isn't their only problem with him. Their other beefs are that he believes asexual people should be considered part of the LGBT community (which I can't disagree with, as long as the people are being serious about it, and not doing it for attention. I'm sure some of you here will disagree about asexuality being an orientation, and I understand and respect your opinion), and because he allegedly "acts like a teenager" when he's 28. I guess they recently found out he's not part of their age demographic, and are suddenly "uncomfortable" with him making jokes relating to being a student. Heaven forbid anyone make something absolutely anyone can relate to into a source of comedy (like, you know...pretty much every comedian ever...).
Honestly, a lot of this kind of shit just looks like a serious case of Tall Poppy syndrome.

They'd rather be spoonfed their representation than look for stuff that already has a good (as well as well-written) amount of it, so we usually end up with either tripe or good stuff that never goes appreciated.

Because no content creator is gonna be 100% problem free like how tumblr wants them to be. If they're white, male and straight or this "straight-passing" bullshit, they'll nitpick at every fine detail until they have a reason to shout "HA! I told you so!" They did it with the X-kit guy, they did it with Markiplier, they did it with a couple other people I can't be fucked to remember about, so now they're onto Thomas Sanders. You've seen it once, you've seen it a hundred times. It's always the same old recycled bullshit about how "X is a rapist/paedophile/sexual offender/transphobic shitlord!" without a shred of actual evidence.
