I'll tell you what, though: Whatever may be in a lady's purse, it's not due to her looking out for a chance to be nice to people, typically. My experience in public places, especially shopping, is that 90% of people are head-down in their own thoughts or phones and can't be bothered to notice there are other human beings within thirty feet of them--men and women alike.

I don't carry purses because i'll either forget it somewhere, lose something in that void, or it might get stolen or something stolen out of it. I prefer pockets anyway because if i can feel it, it's there. Should i feel bad or weird for not having a purse or something?
