Figured I'd post the rest of that headmates page, because I just can't make this shit up.

It's actually changed since yesterday when I first capped it. Solas wasn't there, and Justice (another "fictive") was.

It's so thoughtful of each of the headmates to pop out and type up a short bio for the convenience of random strangers on the internet! I also like how all of these totally real and distinct personalities have all the exact same typing and grammar habits... seems legit.

Tumblrinas can't see people, themselves included, as three-dimensional people with a wide variety of personality traits and interests. They're too simpleminded to understand that, which is why they see people, often entire groups of people, as nothing but a collection of labels. And it's that very same reason why you get bullshit like this. They don't understand how they can like one thing, but also like another thing, or how their mood might change throughout the day, because that would mean being a real person instead of just a label. So, thanks to Tumblr logic, they come to the conclusion that there are a bunch of people living in their heads, one for each personality trait. At the end of the day, they're just too stupid and immature to understand themselves, so they make up this bullshit to compensate.

I suppose, but you can't be on 24/7; if you were to sleep and they were to say something funny, it would probably get lost within a dashboard.

That being said, a new account made solely to mirror another account, only following that person and checking at least daily, might make an effective mirror. However, if they were to block the mirror, you'd lose that.

I'd argue all that's been accomplished is an incentive for a more invasive form of monitoring. Instead of simply archiving, the new system would now encourage trolls to create fake follower blogs, filled with the target's pet interests and made to look legitimate. It's not like that'd be hard, we know their types pretty well by now. They can't just block everyone for fear of losing asspatters, and there's no way to really determine who's real and who isn't. Thus, they'd constantly have to wonder which of their followers were friendly and which were plants used to monitor them.
Then cue the lulz and "gaslighting" accusations. Followed by the witch hunts and crytyping.
This is going to backfire on them. Calling it now.

I haven't played Phantom Pain but I'm sharing this random Tumblr post partly because the tumblrina is using the ad hominem fallacy while thinking people that would side with OP might use gamergate for some reason.

I feel like the people complaining about Quiet don't know a whole lot about the Metal Gear series.

I mean I don't even play Metal Gear but Quiet's design isn't all that ridiculous within the context of the universe.

I think most of these sorts of people on tumblr don't even play video games, they just read fan-wikis and make headmates with the characters they get all sweaty about. Saw a lot of that happening when FNAF blew up and Hotline Miami 2 came out.

They actually did change the name of the show to MI-5 for the US for whatever that's worth.

So obscure that I haven't even learned that it was supposed to be a slur despite being black :powerlevel: until a few years ago when I read an article somewhere about someone petition to change some halloween decorations in their store.
