I don't know why poor hygiene is like, a thing to tell everyone about. I've been seeing it on tumblr a lot lately and it's just...gross. I get that illnesses can make it difficult to shower or whatever but why make it sound like a quirky personality trait?

it's mainly "wow you have negative traits because of your mental illness but you are still a nice person that deserves respect and love" than "TGERES A CORPEE ON MY DASH AND I HAVENT WASHED MYSELD IN 3 MONTHS" but it exists

Ugh I hate this "It's ok to be filthy if you're depressed" bullshit on Tumblr. It's one thing to be understanding if someone is too depressed to properly take care of themselves but you should never enable it.

Wow. You know, it's great when people completely ignore the content and lore of the actual stories, and base their opinions on how diverse and inclusive it is. Because diversity and minorities are totally what make a series, right? Right?

I know the difference between a post encouraging mentally ill people and a post enabling unhealthy behavior. Blah blah powerlevel but I don't need posts to encourage my symptoms even if giving into the symptoms is easier.

The ddlg "community" is by far the skeeviest section of tumblr to me. Especially because I always get "littles" following me who add captions about being "daddy's little princess uwu" when they reblog from me and it's nauseating.

I've seen them do it to minors, as well. And when minors say "hey maybe don't add sexual comments to my posts" they'll get asks "calling them out" for kinkshaming or, even worse, asks going into detail about their sex lives. This happens to older people as well, but it's especially awful when it happens to 15-16 year olds. Just let them have cute nonsexual blogs, for christ's sake. Nobody cares about your weird fetish.

This of course gets largely ignored by the bigger tumblr sj community, who instead focus on teenagers who don't draw characters fat or black enough.
