This reminds me of a paper some academic did where they sent complete gibberish to a number of "peer reviewed" publications to see how many of them printed it. Unsurprisingly, every one that required you to pay to have things published, printed it without qualms. Only 2 or 3 even questioned anything.

I'm betting this self absorbed twit's papers are even more worthless that that gibberish.

My guess is that during the sexual revolution it was probably a lot more enlightening and possibly meant to challenge societal views on sex and gender. But that was likely during the 70's, long before anybody dreamed up the term "demisexual."

It served a purpose at one point. Nowadays?
Colleges realized they could actually get away with charging tuition and housing for 4 years so some poor sucker could spend every day learning about microaggressions. Lab equipment isn't cheap, so as long as people are buying, offering some ridiculous bullshit that costs the college next to nothing is actually a pretty smart move. Add in that you don't really need any specialized or skilled faculty for it (who isn't qualified to teach gender studies?), and you've got a pretty sweet deal, as far as the school is concerned.

Regarding the former, to expand the definition to make it even more obvious how fucked it is, it's as described with notable other trends. These trends include rape being treated as love (but it's okay because it's two men because Tumblrtard double standards), people being soul mates because they boned, the idea that being dominant and the penetrator in sex are one and the same because it's for straight women who get off to gay guys (so no power bottoms or service tops), not even getting the biology right that they're basing any of it off of (such as canine pack hierarchies or the anatomy issues or pheromones), etc. Hell, I avoid Omegaverse like the plague and these are still some of the more obvious observable trends.

The way I see it, if you're gonna do speculative fiction with weird shit like incorporating different species' adaptations for sex, fighting, rank, or whatever else, at least look the weird shit up so it's not completely fucking retarded. And think things through in terms of good storytelling (such as making things be more alien or following an evolutionary line), instead of doing shit like sudden dogcocks because you fap to it or it's your personal fanservice or whatever. And, if you're intending to have sentient species with whatever odd adaptation you chose, then treat them as sentient instead of beasts who just fight, fuck, and feed.

Regarding the latter, at this rate, the 'Farms non-lolcows could all be more qualified than the 'tards with fandom studies degrees at analyzing fandom shit, by virtue of mocking all this stupid bullshit instead of letting it fester and treating it on par with studying frigging history or something.
