Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is a troll, no SJW uses original sin as a comparison to privilege, they all tend to be either atheists or into some hippy, wiccan magik bull.

Yes, I imagine hearing people say "You're a really unpleasant, entitled person regardless of your weight, and I don't want to be around you" would be pretty upsetting.

Characters overcoming adversity despite their flaws and challenges is a really hard situation to write. It's much easier to just make them perfect, and have stories about how perfect and powerful they are.
God forbid they be put into a powerless situation and we start to sympathize with them.

They're not particularly hard situations to write, though. It's essentially forcing characters into their low points and seeing who shines and overcomes and who dies and falls due to their own fatal flaws and refusal to adapt. I'd argue it's SJWs being lazy and SJWs wanting all their "REPRESENTASHUN" to be disgustingly boring Mary Sues. Which is disgusting, but that's what happens when you treat all the arts as solely vehicles for your inane propaganda.

Well, the problem is that certain characters/viewpoints in A Song of Ice and Fire are unsympathetic and do not grow and change despite the need to (such as the Iron Islands viewpoints; only Asha understands the implications what will happen if they keep going on their path and nobody cares because she's a woman). Some of the "shock" of murder, death, and betrayal loses its edge and becomes frustrating when it's so common, war or not.

However, the favorite viewpoints I had are those characters who started changing for the better after undergoing adversity and in such ways that were restoring the idealism to the series. For a while in A Storm of Swords, I will admit I got fatigued because it came across as a sort of "you will be punished for doing the right thing no matter what." Like, not even the idea that the world is mercurial and sometimes bad shit happens to good people and good shit happens to bad people, which is perfectly reasonable because the just world hypothesis is bullshit.

Though SJWs do not use that comparison and it is a troll post, the comparison is apt. Essentially, the privilege argument is that you are responsible for another person's crimes because you were born and that no amount of redemption on your own or pointing out how unjust that sort of system is will wash you of the sins of your fathers. Unless you join with the ideology spouting how you're an evil retch for being born, in which you will still be considered an evil person, but you will be considered able to be redeemed.
