For some reason tumblr now believe the terms MtF or FtM is now offensive even though those are the actual terms.

because trans people aren't TRANSITIONING from one gender to another!!!! they were ALWAYS that gender and acknowledging that they experienced a portion of their life living as another gender is literal violence. i've seen trans lesbians on tumblr flip the fuck out over cis lesbians reminding them that (considering most of them start coming out/transitioning at around like 18-20) they didn't grow up afraid to express their sexuality because of homophobia like cis lesbians do because YEA YOU'RE RIGHT BUT HOW DARE YOU SAY I WAS EVER ONCE A MAN, WHICH IS DEFINITELY WAY MORE OPPRESSIVE THAN WHAT YOU EXPERIENCED

unless it's Caitlyn Jenner who we have to acknowledge was a disgusting privileged rich white man until she decided to transition.

MtF is doubly offensive, shitlords. It implies they were once MALES (even physically) when they were truly always a woman inside. It's also offensive to people who transition to a non-binary gender, because it implies that only "female" and "male" are valid genders to be.
I think that's what they mean? I hate trying to understand tucute-ese.

This post isn't wrong, because I can attest as somebody who's studied animation history that the characters listed very much were based on blackface, but I think the take-away from this info is missing the mark. These cartoons are like 70-80 years old, and reflected the values of the time, which are radically different from our current values. These should be viewed with a historical lens, as shocking as they are to modern eyes. Is Mickey Mouse being based on blackface in the 20's racist now? Certainly not, since he's become so divorced from vaudeville as time goes on. Every time I see some Tumblr kiddie just discover old animation, acting all furious over the fact that these cartoons were made, it's like... everybody who made them is fucking dead now. It's precisely why it's history.

It's like, things were racist in the 20s! Holy shit!

This is what happens when you sleep through history class, folks.

Nah there's plenty for basically any cartoon. Most of the shows on adult swim have pretty sizeable tumblr fanbases, there'll be fictionkin in the tags and obscure sexuality/gender headcanons abound.

I wonder if there's anyone on Tumblr who'll claim to be Zorak or Brak-kin. Or Flem and Earl-kin. Or Little Suzy-kin.

So, the Ghostbusters remake trailer came out, and Tumblr is collectively shitting itself over it being criticized;

The tag is pretty wild, but there's a nice portion of sanity amongst it.

Funny thing is the movie is gonna flop anyway. Did you see the dislikes on the trailer?

People are not hating it because it's a female cast, people hate it because it's a unessary addition to the series that have blan writing that seems to close to the original. Not to mention the black lady is a PAINFUL stereotype which they suppose to hate. It's clear the writers focused more on their gender than the actual writting.Thats why people hate it not because 'ew girlsss'.

We're gonna be seeing a lot more posts advocating for violent overthrow of the government the closer we get to Election Day... so long as somebody else is committing that violence. Tumblr users have more important shit to do than smash the state.
I actually wholly endorse this trend.
Let's see your average Tumblr user try violence as a tactic. We've already got some hysterical videos of the SovCit people getting tazed and pulled out of cars for similar shit. I'm completely on board with the Tumblr rendition of the same.

There's only so far you can go in exploiting the American public's willingness to watch anything, it seems.

The new Ghostbusters will be torn to shreds by the very SJWs it was trying to pander to.

It's beautiful, in a way.

That's why you never give in to SJWs. They will rip you apart no matter how much you give if you gave at all in the first place.

I also bring content that is not Tumblr, but the situation described is so mind-bogglingly retarded that it fits with this thread.

TL;DR: Students in a Maine private school get offended at a party for having tiny sombreros and tequila, the hosts of the party got kicked out of their dorms, and members of a student organization lost their position for attending.

For context, The 100 killed off a character last night, the character was gay, therefore, everyone is triggered.
This is not the only post like this.

It's gotten worse. Now these triggered viewers either want The 100 to be canceled, are threatening/insulting Jason Rothenburg, or screaming that lesbians never get happy endings. Gives the impression that LGBT fanbases want LGBT characters to be put on a pedestal away from danger regardless of setting.

I hope they grow out of it, or there are people willing to smack some sense into them. There are other things to worry about beyond fiction.

Of course you can be upset if your favorite character's mistreated, but getting into hysterical fits claiming that the producers hate that part of the fandom? Uh...

Ahh, yes, Bowdoin College. It's a private university, which means these people are allegedly adults.

This is the school that basically ejected the Christian students' organization because said organization wouldn't let an atheist run for officer (i.e., wouldn't let the atheist decide the group's policies and religious doctrine for them). There's no end to the insanity the crazy white SJWs there will indulge.

Leaning in and clearing her throat before speaking again, slowly, in smaller words? Do these people not visualize their emotes as they type them? That sort of body language is reserved for people who are exercising authority over others.

She literally white-privileged herself over a black person.

Then again, 99.999% of Tumblr crytyping over "white privilege" is basically humble-bragging.

What I don't seem to get, is why Tumblr dummies hate porn so much. You'd think, with the way they love expressing their sexualities, they'd encourage it. People are GOING to draw porn of stuff. It happens. Doesn't mean YOU have to look at it. Besides, children don't generally use sites like Tumblr, so it shouldn't matter. And as far as I know, NSFW content can be filtered out when using Tumblr or even Google, correct?
