Headcanons back in the day were different. They were all about small little things that could be canon or not, like personality quirks, what type of music X character would like, or so.

I dunno when did they turn into tranny fetishism collection. But I just know they got worst with the typical tumblrinas screaming "IF YOU DON'T AGREE YOUR A RACEST WHATEVERPHOBE!!!" like spoiled little brats. I never even see "original" headcanons anymore.

Funny because there is media out there that features transsexual characters (Rent, anyone?), so they could get their representation fetish from there, but for some reason actual cannon tranny characters never get talked about in dumblr.

Really, it's only recently it seems that people just blurt out "head canons". It used to be if you had those ideas you'd write a fanfic, showing why they were 'your' head canon. But then... Laziness. This is a Disney movie a) featuring a female protagonist that b) isn't marketed to specifically girls and c) does not end up in a relationship with the male lead (!) and indeed d) does not engage or express a desire for romance in her movie plot. That's... kind of rare in children's media and I would expect that it would be something SJWs would laud as progressive. So why do they want to see Judy as a trans man rather than accepting the time a female protagonist in children's media was done well?

Zootopia even has an anti-prejudice message. But it portray prejudice that goes all ways, which doesn't suit the idea that "racism=prejudice+power". In fact, the inly negative professional reviews of Zootopia on Rotten Tomatoes say it doesn't portray discrimination the right way.

Honestly, I think this one isn't so bad. They're a confused teenager who doesn't know what they want or like in a sexual relationship, and so tries to block it out (see last paragraph). The "i like" paragraph is a bit weird, but I interpret it as them just trying to make friends with people who like what they like. I know I might be a bit generous, but I always feel a bit for the minors posted here.

I remember reading a comic by an independent transwoman filmmaker who made films about transwomen and how basically no matter what she did or how she portrayed her characters, other trans people would complain that she was hurting transwomen.

Make a tragedy about a transwoman facing actual hardships specific to them where she dies at the end? OMG, you're perpetuating a narrative that we don't get happy endings! Make a movie about two transwomen who were prostitutes who turn to crime and have it be more action-y? OMG, not all transwomen are prostitutes, you should make something more positive! Make a movie about a transwoman who comes to terms with who she is! NARRATIVE NARRATIVE WHY CAN'T WE GET MOVIES ABOUT TRANSWOMEN WHERE THEIR BEING TRANS ISN'T EVEN A PLOT POINT?
