Uh.

I think they're super-salty because Frozen was marketed as an "indigenous" Sami tale, and retarded American SJWs saw "indigenous" and thought "non-White", when in this case it was a folk tale of the Sami people, an ethnic minority indigenous to Finland and very, very white.

"Indigenous" literally means people of color to tumblrinas, regardless of what the word actually means.

Oh yes, and i remember when actual Samis and Norwegians started commenting on their bullshit and calling them out, saying Samis are actually white, and the tumblrinas dug up weird XIX century photos of vaguely Eurasian-esque people and saying "SEE? THIS IS WHAT ORIGINAL SAMIS LOOK LIKE! DISNEY WHITEWASHED IT!!!" I wouldn't be surprised if tumblr lied about that picture, knowing them...

Yeah, I found old pictures of Samis and some of them do look somewhat Eurasian, but an equal number of them looked white, too.

EDIT: I also like these (probably white) SJWs being completely oblivious to the hypocrisy of trying to explain to an ethnic minority they don't belong to and know almost nothing about who and what they are when they shriek about "whitesplaining" or whatever they call it when a white person tries to give their perspective to an ethnic minority (as long as that ethnic minority isn't white (or Jewish)).

When the hell was this? I thought it was supposedly an adaptation of Andersen's "The Snow Queen." I don't recall them marketing it as a Sami tale...

I have no idea, man; not being a six-year-old girl, I never watched Frozen and didn't follow it very closely. I just recall reading that it has something to do with the Sami people.

The film has nothing to do with them anyway. It's set in a make-believe fairytale kingdom.

I remember they bitched about Frozen "whitewashing" POC characters from the original fairy tale...Which is really weird, seeing the original story was also set in Scandinavia and none of the characters seemed particular "POC-esque".

They complained about it almost nonstop and paid no attention to the Disney movie that actually had a black princess and a well written story. They don't want representation. They want notes.

In the original fairy tale there is a Lapp woman who helps little Gerda on her quest to find her friend Kai; she writes a message on a dried fish and has Gerda take it to her friend in Finland.

But the Disney film is nothing like the original fairy tale at all, despite the credits saying it was "inspired by" it... So why not complain about that, and not about muh representation?

That's because Tiana spent most of the movie as a frog, so it "doesn't count". The only good film featuring POC, as far as they're concerned, is Lilo and Stitch.
Even Moana can't catch a break. Back when everyone found out a 14 year old Hawaiian girl got the part as Moana's voice actress, tumblr was divided on it. Some were happy that an actual Polynesian girl got the part, and others were shitting themselves, because she "wasn't Polynesian enough". Apparently Hawaii is too mainstream and therefore not good enough.

One thing that always confused me about the argument that lesbians should be attracted to tranny women, no matter if they try to pass or not, because they're women, of course!!! is that...why do so many people want to date someone that they had to guilt into dating them in the first place?

Because they're just standard bearers for rape culture while calling themselves progressive.

They are no better than the MRAs who insist they have a right to vagina whether the person who has the vagina agrees or not.

Remember when black Tumblr made fun of a dead little girl because she wore Frozen leggings?
I want to say that maybe they thought the kid was just laying on the floor as part of a game, but the internet sucked out all of my faith in humanity a long time ago.

Well, the Princess and the Frog wasn't as successful as Frozen, and they don't give a shit about anything that isn't popular.
