what gets me about tumblr is how they are always going on about micro aggressions and hating them but do that thing where they force you to refer to them with specific pronouns that they sate ahead of time which is the ultimate in micro-aggression

They just set themselves up for microaggressions, and I love it. I mean, they want to hold some kind of holier-than-thou power over people, so why not manufacture a situation where you're set up to point out the other person's misogyny/transphobia/racism etc when they accidentally violate some esoteric rule. Most people tend to apologize when they think they've offended someone on accident, so you get that nice "I'm better than you" feeling plus someone submitting to your whims all at once!
